Anna Maria Restaurant — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

The owner is very, very rude. My boyfriend and I were on vacation in September, and we sat to eat at this place. We ordered drinks first before we look out in menu for dinner, our friends called us, they sat at other restaurant so we decided to go there, basically we sat for 5 minutes and cause i didn't want to bother the waitress to call her to pay,(cause we felt shame that we are leaving this place, we didn't want to make a bad impression), I went by myself to the cashier to pay for the drinks and I apologized and told them that our friends are waiting for us. When the lady who worked in the kitchen, probably his wife, asked him what I was telling him, he said in his language, "She doesn't have money and laughed." But I am polyglot, so I understood him. 😉 I didn't say anything, and when he was giving my change back, he was yelling smth and literally threw the money to me and banged with his hand on the desk. This made me really nervous and uncomfortable, and when I asked him why he was throwing the money like that, he said, "Hajde hajde bye bye, happy new year." I said to him, "Thank you very much, you are very kind," and left shaking. Let's make this owner...

I rarely write negative reviews, but this time I had no choice because of this arrogant and unpleasant waiter. Since it was extremely hot due to the heatwave, we simply asked if we could order drinks before the food, but he flatly refused, insisting on taking everything at once. On top of that, he was pressuring us to order quickly, making the whole experience even more uncomfortable.

The most shocking part, after we finally placed our order, he came back to demand that we pay before being served. After traveling across many countries and continents, this is the first time we’ve ever experienced such disrespect. To make matters worse, he was yelling at the cook in front of the customers.

A real shame, because everywhere else in Greece we were warmly welcomed. But because of this waiter, this restaurant is one to avoid. Do yourself a favor and eat at one of the many other restaurants on...

Worst restaurant ever. Waited more than one and a half hour, my husband asked twice if they had forgotten us. The waiter said no , he hasn't, my wife is now preparing your irder ( which was a lie) People who came in an hour later than us had their dinner and were almost finished ( 3 tables!). So my Husband went inside to ask again, the lady hadn't had the order, the waiter did not give the order to the cook. He became very brutal, the lady/ cook apologized and said she didn't know about our order. The two were arguing and shouting all the time. So we said we don't want to wait any longer and went away.
