Madouri Beach Bar — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Terrible food quality: eggs for omelets are stored in the sun without a refrigerator. It threatens salmonellosis. We saw how they store eggs when we were living in the "Madouri hotel" on the ground floor. The view on the bar was opened from our window. The owner of the bar runs after everyone and forces them to buy drinks at his bar in order to get a sunbed and an umbrella. Even in the evening, when the beach is empty, he runs after you to check if you stand or don't by his sunbed. My son put the towel on the free sunbed at 8 p.m. and he came to us and started making a scene. We said that we have lived in the "Madouri hotel" for a week, then wanted to stay there longer but there were no free rooms. We left the hotel and moved to the other one only 2 days ago. But we are still going to this beach. And we only put a towel on one of his free sunbeds in the evening. He offered to buy some drinks or to get out of the beach near the hotel. Vi kom till Madouri Beach bar för att hyra solstolar, på solstolarna står det att om man inte bor på hotellet så ska man fråga personalen i baren om det finns möjlighet att nyttja solstolarna. Vi går till en kvinna i baren och frågar om vi kan hyra två solstolar varpå hon svarar att det går bra men att vi behövde spendera 20 euro under dagen. Vi tar två solstolar och efter ett tag går vi för att köpa dricka i baren. Alla tre i personalen började prata med varandra på grekiska och det kändes som att dom pratade om oss. Vi får vår dricka, går tillbaka till solstolarna. Efter en liten stund kommer ägaren och skäller ut oss. Hon frågar om vi tillhör hotellet, vi svarade nej. Hon säger att de här solstolarna är för hotellgäster så vi måste gå och pekar på lappen vid stolarna. Hon påstod att hon frågat om vi skulle ta drickan som takeaway och att takeaway innebär att man tar med sig den och går.

Vi berättar att vi pratat med en kvinna i baren som sagt att det var okej att hyra två solstolar under dagen. Hon ifrågasätter vem vi har pratat med. Efter en stund säger hon att vi då får stanna kvar där. Så fort hon gick därifrån så gick vi också därifrån. Otroligt...
