Santa Lucia Pizza — Restaurant in Meteora Municipality

We visited on Friday evening and were greeted by the kindest and most welcoming gentleman that made us feel right at home. He gave us plenty of time to order and assured us that we could take our time to sit and enjoy our meal. We had personal pizzas; mine was the Greek style and it was delicious, with the perfect thickness of crust and yummy feta cheese as well as local olives and beautiful veggies. My partner also enjoyed his. The water was free which is not always the case in Greece. We were also given locally prepared ice cream as a traditional close to the meal on the house. Everyone was lovely and the gentleman wished us a wonderful and sincere farewell. Santa Lucia is a great place to grab a pizza for a change from all of the typical greek food found throughout town. Very affordable. We had the ham pizza that had pineapples and requested an additional topping which ended up being free of charge. The greek salad was very fresh and just what we were looking for as a side. On another occasion we also tried their calzone, this too was great! The family who own the place are very friendly and welcoming with big smiles ready to serve their guests! Alright, let me start off by saying I didn't know this place excited until I saw the delivery guy delivering some pizzas across the street. I flagged him down, he kindly gave me a menu, and I called and ordered 2 pizzas. Me and my friend are traveling from America. This is one of the best pizzas we've EVER had.
