This guesthouse has quite a lot going for it: A key position in one of Kalambaka's squares near town centre and at close proximity to the awesome Meteora rocks and their monasteries (about 15 minutes drive to the North). The owners are very warm hearted people leaving a very good impression to all of their visitors. They also have good knowledge of the area so they can give instructions you can depend on. The guesthouse operates a dinner on the ground floor which is open to guests and passers by alike but the food served is only so and so. There is ample parking space up front and a great unobstructed view to the Meteora rocks. The guesthouse's price in my opinion is very competitive and the rooms are sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and warn if somewhat cosy. On the latter, I feel that this venue is great for a few romantic nights together with your loved one, but I think the room size doesn't cater for families or co-travelers so well. Read moreA warm welcome awaits. I found this guesthouse and restaurant to be more comfortable than a hotel (it was chosen for me by Visit Meteora tours). My room’s balcony faced the Meteora rocks and a monastery. The small bathroom had a hand-held shower. Smoking is allowed on balconies, and you may be sharing a balcony (with a partition) with the adjacent room. Guests with afternoon departures are able to check out at 12 noon, leave their luggage in the restaurant and return later (and use the bathroom facilities), before departing.
