We were only here for five days this summer and after our first morning we knew we'd be back for longer. So full disclosure there is a big hill but it's not that bad. There's a lovely dog half way up and a pub at the bottom and at the top (the hotel bar open until 1am). Taxis are cheap and will happily come and get you. We had a beautiful room with a huge sun terrace complete with sun loungers and a parasol. The room was cleaned regularly and beautifully decorated. An awesome power shower and modern plumbing make a welcome change. A nice touch was the complimentary toiletries replaced regularly also. The pool and outside bar are stunning. There was a lounger and once there a complimentary 2 litre water and ice bucket arrives which was yet another thoughtful detail. The pool bar snacks and drinks are freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Highly recommended the cocktails which are made with fruits grown in their stunning gardens. The ice cream is worth a mention as it's locally made, delivered daily and has some unique flavour options such as Kinder Bueno (amazing). Breakfast.... Well there are many options but the fresh coffee and jams are the highlight. I didn't know I needed passion fruit jam in my life until then. Naturally it's all made from the garden fruits by the extremely talented Natalia. We hadn't planned to eat at the hotel as we weren't here for very long and wanted to check out our old favourites. On this particular evening the largest blood moon of the decade would have been visible. Taking advantage of the hotels panoramic views and height, they put on a magical evening. There was a telescope and live piano music while we ate watching the mood turn bright red. Kostas, Natalia and Vaggelis are amazing hosts. Quite literally moved the entire restaurant outside so guests could see the moon. On another evening I was educated in the art of traditional Greek dancing, Kostas was right in that any song can be danced to using Greek dancing. Vaggelis is hilarious but also an amazing chef. A special shout out to Clio who made the best banoffee pie I've ever had. This place is amazing at making you want to stay on the hill. We could have easily never ventured down to Elounda town. There are daily specials and activities that offer more than the standard tourist excursion. In a nutshell, Elounda heights it's relaxing but by no means boring. Packed with personal and thoughtful touches that make it stand out from any other hotel I've stayed at in Elounda. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and have a great sense of humour. Thanks for a great stay and see you next year! Sam and Gracey.

This is an excellent accommodation in a beautiful hilltop garden setting which is owned and run by Kostas and Natalia. The rooms are in two blocks on two levels. One block contains studios whilst the other consists of one bedroom apartments. There are also two luxury apartments located on the top floor of the main building. All are tastefully appointed in a contemporary style with free air conditioning and electronic combination safe. Each one has a private balcony or patio, most with sea views and some with pool/ garden views. There is a daily maid service with regular linen and towel changes. There is a pool bar which serves breakfast up to 10:00 am and snacks & drinks all day up to 8:00 pm in the summer months. For the evening there is an on site restaurant / bar which serves a-la-carte meals or a daily special all delicious and devised cooked by the founder and legend Vangelis. Most days there are events which can be booked up to 4pm on the day except the weekly boat trip which needs to be booked the previous day. Events include Gourmet Wine Tasting Evening, Meze Evening, Telescope Stargazing with an experienced astronomer and Sunday Boat Trip among others. None are compulsory but all are great fun. All staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and will do anything they can to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Being on a hill top, the views are spectacular across the bay over to the island of Spinalonga. Many visitors are repeat guests which says a lot about the draw of this place. Whilst we were there, we met at least three sets of guests who had never been before, but booked for another stay either later in the year or next year because they enjoyed the peace and warm welcome. Other facilities include gym, pool table and small library all free to use by guests. This year was our twelfth at Elounda Heights and as always, we were very sad to leave but have already booked for early October 2019 and again for summer 2020. This is an adults only establishment so not suitable for young families.

We actually stumbled across this hotel by accident as the hotel we booked down the road accidentally ended up overbooking so by the time we arrived there were no rooms - so they said they had a sister hotel 300m down the road, Elounda Heights. Honestly ended up being the best stay we have ever had. The breakfast at the pool bar what honestly absolutely delightful, has small changes every to to mix it up which makes going back every day a treat - We had dinner in the romantically lit outside section of the bar where they had an actual pianist playing a variety of popular songs on the piano which made for a lovely evening meal - the food was honestly an 11/10, some of the best food we’ve had out in a very long time and we like to try a lot of local eateries while away! All of the rooms were well equipped, clean and our second room had the most beautiful view from the balcony (we were lucky to try 3 different rooms while we moved about haha) The staff (the family who run the hotel) were all honestly so amazing, so attentive and were happy to help with literally anything we needed - considering our circumstances. Towards the end of our trip we loved it so much here we would have happily just stayed forever 😂 All the other guests were also so friendly with us, and all the staff where it ended up just feeling like a big family - a real community feel where the staff just felt like friends. Ended our last evening all drinking together and being friendly and having a great time. We spent our last moments outside in the seating area star gazing as the sky at night is beautifully clear. Stumbling upon this location by a odd accident, we are now looking into when we can come back next year!

We arrived in July and stayed through to August for 14 nights. This is our 3rd visit to Elounda and the heights in as many years. It is situated in a beautiful location overlooking Elounda and the bay. The hill is steep but after all the amazing food and drink its good to balance things out. The rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming. Cleaned to a high standard every day bu Christina . We stayed as a family of four , my daughter had been before but not our son. He loved it as much as we do. Our daughter has also celebrated her last 3 Birthdays here which is celebrated by starting with a lovely bottle of fizz compliments of Elounda heights .The chilled out vibe around the pool is lovely, never a problem getting a bed which are so comfortable. You get a towel to change every 3 days which are exchanged with a token. |Breakfast is out of this world as is the service by the lovely team George abs Elaina including Sandra who always greeted us with a smile.|We ate lunch most days which again is fantastic, from salads to toastiest or more traditional greek snacks. Im vegetarian and never had a problem. |The evening meals are also divine. Presented well, tasty and cooked by Vangelis again all under twinkling lights with stunning views.|But what makes this place amazing is the staff.|Our daughter sadly became ill last couple of days of holiday and needed a hospital visit. Natalia arranged a taxi, told them to get us there quickly. She wrote instructions for the hospital staff in greek for us and translated the medication when we returned. Ritsa messaged to see how she was, Kostas, George ,Cleo, Katerina manos all showed concern. Two days later on a walk into town my son walked into a tree ( we were on a roll) before he could touch is head Katerina and manos were out with an ice pack. |I could go on all day about how amazing this place is and how amazing the staff are but you get the jist.|My daughter is planning to return next year with her partner . Albeit a couple of months later as I work in a school but where else would I want to celebrate my 50th year on earth but at Elounda heights. |God willing will|See you...

Where to start. What a gem, got to be the best Adults only hotel and apartments in Elounda. Although access is on a steep hill, the views are spectacular. The village of Elounda is only 5 mins down hill where there are plentyful bars, tavernas, restaurants, shops etc. Also the beautiful harbour. All on thr flat. Bus stop there too, 2 euros to Plaka and also to Agio Nicholas, each way. Buses were hourly whilst we were here ||What makes this place special is the family who own it and their special staff. There is nothing they won't do for you No wonder there are so many repeat guests. People coming here for 20 years plus. Age groups range from late 20's to early 80's mostly late 60's to mid 70's whilst we were here. Very peaceful and relaxing place.|Food is amazing here, the main chef is Vangellis and George. Vangellis built it and now it is run by his daughter Natalia and Kotas her husband. |We stayed in Sea view Studio, named Helios. All rooms have Greek names. |Room well appointed, has a new refurbished bathroom, professional hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Fridge and cooking facilities if you wish to be fully self catering. We were on a bed and breakfast basis. Best decision these were amazing |Massive shout out to Ritsa ,(Receptionist and backbone here), George and Elaina (husband and wife) catering, cleaning and oddjobs. Clio (pool bar, cooks amazing cakes and cookies, is the Queen of Raki, great hostess. Christina (maid) what a lovely hardworking woman. Sandra (breakfast waiteess) a lovely young lady who has now left and gone to Athens for UNI. Mano (barman and waiter), again a lovely young man, under the supervision of Clio and Katerina. Karerina (senior bar manager) knows her stuff and takes no prisoners. Best cocktails from her.|Vangellis and Anna's wife, love talking to them, they have years of experience and stories. Vangellis an amazing her and very funny. Last but not least, Rea their dog |Would highly recommend and we will be back. Hotel has major renovations in the coming year, new...
