Wow, beautiful setting and amazing atmosphere, relaxing music playing and we literally had a table on the beach with the waves lapping up next to our feet. The food was stunning, just well made simple what it says it is, garlic mushrooms were just that, lovely mushrooms loads of garlic. We had a bream and a bass which were perfectly cooked and amazingly fresh and tasty. The sides were good too. We had wine which was also really good and the whole thing was well priced. Mostly though this place has a real authentic, relaxing, welcoming vibe and it’s not trying to be modern or fancy, it’s just a lovely traditional sea side taverna doing fairly straightforward food incredibly well. The staff there were all amazing, attentive when needed but not hanging over you all the time. They really cared whether we enjoyed it of not which we absolutely did. Would go back here in a heartbeat if you want some proper, simple but amazingly fresh...

Strange place. Service was ok and so was the food one of the kids in our group ordered a hamburger and it came without a bun when we questioned it we wher told its how the serve hamburgers. What!?! Despite the menu showing an actual picture of an actual hamburger. Strange. Also while my mother was ordering her second drink wich I think was pina colada she was told, simply, no. Strange. As I said the food the rest of us had (table of 9) was fine nothing to write home about but no complaints other than the weird burger thing. The menu is really extensive offering lots of different food not really seen a menu with that many options before. Place seemed clean enough. Wasn't very busy when we wher ther at mid afternoon. Prices wher reasonable. While clearing tables they'd throw left over food into the water for the fish to eat wich kept the...

Enjoyed a nice leasurely meal for two. Table right on the edge of the harbour with views across to Spinalonga. Friendly owner & staff.

Bread with a small plate of olives, tzatziki and yellow pea dip (like a plain hummus). Then mixed starter for 2 - large portion enough for 3 or even 4. Whitebait, courgette tempura, stuffed vine leaves, spinach pie, cream cheese pie, cheese ball croquettes, tzatsiki, hummus, taramasalata, chips.

Mixed main - stuffed pepper, moussaka, beef stikado, roasted vegetables and an aubergines dish that was unfamiliar but delicious. Delicious fruity rosé from the owner's father.

No room for desert.

Finished with complimentary soft...
