Gianna Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Apokoronas

We arrived at the apartments very late but the manager had kindly allowed my mom to check us in earlier in the day. The apartment was spotless, modern and well equipped. The cot we requested was in the room waiting. We were very impressed considering it was one of the cheaper places we had come across.||In the apartment the beds are comfy, there is a good sized dining area, the kitchen is fairly small but perfect for what we need. We have a kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, huge fridge freezer. The cooker and hobs are enough to be able to cook a meal. We have everything we need.||The pool area is very clean and tidy. Lots of sunbeds and parasols. It is very quiet when my kids aren’t in it….||There is a kiosk selling food and drinks at reasonable prices. The omelettes, crepes and toasties are all amazing. As are the milkshakes and ice creams. ||The cleaners come in every day and do a fantastic job, beds and towels changed every other day.||Location is amazing. Next door to the best bakery in town, 1 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, 2 minute walk from the beach. ||The manager is lovely and can’t do enough for us. Stayed for 10 nights end September into October in a studio . Very big with everything you could need , small kitchen supplied with washing liquid , dining table , hairdryer , iron and board . Large tiled bathroom with shower over bath . Comfortable twin beds , cleaned to a high standard every day . Effective & quiet air conditioning included . Maybe the furniture is a little old fashioned but given the reasonable price paid , it makes you realise that you don’t need a boutique feel to the rooms , and the hospitality received from the owner Antonis far outways the material things . We had breakfast included and was more than plentiful, either served as a buffet or to your table individually, depending on the number of guests , some opted self catering . The location is excellent, next to the bakery and supermarket & a short 2 minute walk to the seafront . Pool was on the cold side but plenty of sun beds available for each apartment , maybe they would benefit from being renewed for some nice padded ones to add a hit of comfort . Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay...

Just back from a weeks holiday staying at the Gianna apartments with my four sisters. The host Adonis and his wife couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable from arranging taxis’s and having water in our room for our arrival. The apartment was cleaned meticulously every day by a friendly lady sorry I didn’t get her name but I couldn’t not mention her as I even got a hug on my departure. Tho location is close to all amenities, beach, restaurants, shops and a very special bakery which is a two minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment has everything that you would require for a self contained flat and has added extras like a safety deposit box and air con which there is NO extra charge. Everyone we met at the apartments were return guests and if returning to Almyrida I would have no hesitation about a return visit to Gianna, thanks Gianna you made our holiday...
