In terms of location it's brilliant not quite in the busier town centre but just a few streets behind so less noisy but a short walk and you in town.
The owner is not Greek but Austrian, showed us to our rooms on the first day but never asked us during our stay or after our stay how things are or if we needed anything so we kinda didn't feel that hospitality vibe.
Rooms were not well equipped at all and lacked several important items . Also there is the newer side and the older side of the hotel, the newer side has a nice more modern spacious feel while the older side for the same money is not worth the money, much smaller and very small bathrooms with no proper showers meaning when you shower the floor is like a river because no shower enclosures so you need to mop up all the water.
Bedding is changed once per week and the room cleanliness was not the best. I had to sweep our balcony myself and floors inside the apartment as it was not done properly.
I would not call it a hotel as it's far from that but more of a B&B...in its own way it's a nice Place but please check your rooms in advance and ask questions before you book.
My review is based on our experience and of a few others so not everyone may agree with it but it's just a heads up for you to consider when booking to avoid any...
Read moreThe hotel exceededmy expectations, we had just spent a week in there as a family (2 couples) we had a lovely tier 4 I believe apartament in a newly renovated part of the hotel. The hotel room and the cleaning service was great and the owners were super friendly, the female, young lady from the reception (sorry I do not know the name) was very helpful on the arrival, making sure we get room as quick as possible after travelling through several countries withit24 hrs and being exhausted. We have not spent too much time around the pool as we fancied a beach but the time I spent there was nice with new sun lounges and a clean cute pol to relax in. The location is great, close to the square and all taverns and the beach. Everything was within a reach. We will definitely be back, it's good for families and for couples. I will definitely want the same room as we have a lovely private balcony on the ground floor which was an important thing for us. * Sorry I don't have many photos from the hotel room/hotel grounds so there are few from outside unfortunately with our faces (outside looked lovely day and night as you can see on attached photos!) And from the view from our balcony. Also I thought the hotel was run very...
Read moreWe went on a family holiday through TUI. We had booked 4 rooms, including 1 budget room due to the lack of rooms available in the newer part of the hotel. The room was only a little cheaper than the others. Small, in need of renovation, very modestly equipped, located on a busy and noisy street, above a tavern, so in the morning and late at night you could hear doors slamming and conversations of other guests and staff. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, the bathroom was hardly cleaned at all during the entire stay. The shower tray was very small, without a curtain, which resulted in regular flooding of the bathroom. The swimming pool was small and was not cleaned regularly. The smell of septic tanks everywhere. However, this was not the biggest disappointment for us, but the complete lack of hospitality and interest on the part of the owner. For 7 days of our stay, she pretended not to see us, never once asking if everything was OK. The worst thing, however, was how on the day of departure she asked us to leave one of the rooms after 10 a.m. (even though the hotel stay ends at 12 p.m.) because "new, tired guests were waiting since 8 a.m." She didn't even ask what time our flight was, or transportation to the airport, or whether we needed to store our luggage or just use the toilet. Pros? Great location - 5 minutes walk to the beach, 3 minutes to the centre of the atmospheric town, where we experienced true Greek hospitality and sincere smiles of the inhabitants. I do not recommend the hotel.
Plusy? Swietna lokalizacja - 5 minut pieszo do plazy, 3 minuty do centrum klimatycznego miasteczka, w ktorym spotkalismy sie z prawdziwa, grecka goscinnoscia i szczerymi usmiechami mieszkancow.
