I stayed at this hotel with my high-maintenance teenager :), ...and we both loved it. |Going there, I have not expected much, and was so pleasantly surprised that this is way beyond official two stars. |We've got a tidy mini-appartment with all you need for the stay, includ, fridge, mini-kettle, dryer lines, air conditioner, towels. |Our room was also located in a cozy hotel corner, so there was never a direct sun, and we could have both breakfast and dinner at our cozy terrace, without being roasted.|The hotel location is also superb, about 5-7 mins to the beach, couple minutes to the local bus stop, where you can take a local bus to city tour to Rhetymno or Chania, and get back to quiet Georgiopoli afterwards.|The hosts are genuinely friendly, giving tips, helping out, even stayed late to meet us for a night checkin. While waiting for the transfer bus, we also had a nice talk outside. |It felt like summer home, we are looking forward to...

It looked just like the pictures on the hotel's website. Although simple, it was comfortable and well-equipped. The air conditioning in the living room was very efficient, and there was plenty of hot water at all times. The TV was small and wall-mounted, but featured BBC World News. In the bedroom there was a large closet with drawers, plenty of hangers (for a change!), and a safety deposit box. ||This time around we didn't get an apartment with a sea view, and the double bed was narrower than we like, but we enjoyed our week at the Nostalgie very much. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in...
