SUCH AN EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT FOR SUCH A CHEAP SERVICE A couple of days ago I've decided to have dinner with a couple of friends at this place and I had my dog with me (pinsher- chihuahua- mix, just for the size and type of my dog...)... When we entered the dining area and were waiting for the waiter to accommodate us somewhere, I saw a guy, estimated as a supervisor/ owner, saying something to the waiter and showing towards our direction... So the waiter approached us saying, in a polite way to be fair, in his words: " I am very sorry for this, but we cannot host pets in our Restaurant, would you have some other place where you could enclose your pet during you are having dinner here???"... We looked each other clearly embarrassed, said thank you, turned and left this place... we agreed in the car that we would never ever support any business that has such an uncivilized policy towards animals 😢🤪 A person or a business that has such a mentality against animals, wouldn't be very different to humans... we live in Berlin and we all have been around, but none of us has ever been confronted with an issue... very sad and devastated by this... Read moreAlways wanted to dine here after passing it for many years on our way to our usual Santa Barbara Taverna on Maltas beach. The setting is amazing; on a jetty by the old Kaiser bridge. This place did NOT disappoint! Menu was varied and very different, lots of homemade dishes on offer with balanced meal sizes for each course. Fresh fish was superb as was the vegetarian dish (although for a vegetarian, serving it in a Conch shell probably wasn't the best idea). The homemade bread, aromatic butter and salt was a nice touch to start our meal and the choice of wines and beers certainly complimented each course. There were three choices of desserts and the addition of complimentary liquers and delights at the end of the meal were very well received by my guests. Our servers were eager to please and very friendly; they were very knowledgeable regarding the menu and I could tell they knew their jobs very well. We will definitely be returning on our next...

We had beef carpaccio, moussaka croquettes, octopus salad, potatoes with Corfu Gruyère cheese sauce, panna cotta, churros with caramel sour cherry sauce. All absolutely delicious. Stunning location. Gracious, accommodating staff. We wanted to order a charcuterie plate but that is only paired with wine so owner Nikolas steered us away from that. At dusk the torches go on and ithe dock glows. Charming. We sat on the long dock stretching out over the ckear blue water in which you can see fish swimming around while at your table. But there are lots of tables across the road on the porch and in the main restaurant. Steps from Kaiser Bridge bus stop on...
