Amazing views and rooms do big and spacious. Very clean dnd good cooking facilities. We stayed here the first part of our holiday. We arrived late and Spiro the owner stayed up serving us till 4am. Not that I realised the time. He allowed our children in the pool after 11pm which was great the children needed that time to play after the flight and transfer.
The hotel is based on a hill very steep if your mobility is poor but it was worth it for the views. Food very good and drinks reasonably priced. Pool cleans and plenty of sunbeds throughout the day.
Several ways to walk to the beach. Either down the main road or walk across from pink palace and there are steps you can go down. Follow the oath and it will take you to another hotel which you walk through did it leads to the centre of the town.
Beaches very good but water shoes advised. Seeing the sunset here was amazing and the restaurants down on the beach were fabulous. Pasta dishes to die for. Sunbeds free and no hassle of the bars to buy drinks. Don’t go to the first bar walk further down the beach there the better ones.
Robin nest bar was brilliant. The children loved all the fancy dress items she had and painting the stones. Kept them busy while we chatted.
All in all best start to our holiday. Spiro offered to transfer us to kavos but there were 9 of us. He said to contact him direct for booking so will do next time. I had already done this as my oldest daughter decided to come join us for a while and they replied straight away. Sorted an extra bed with no hassle at all.
Loved this place and...
Read morePROS:the room is quite big and there is enough space for all your luggages. there is a huge wardrobe and a table to take your breakfast. the terrace is big enough to enjoy the view of you remove the pink that is surrounding the hotel.
CONS:the fact that I was invoiced 5€/night without any clause in the conditions on booking for sleeping with my baby in the same bed. another 1€ for parking even if I showed to the personnel that the parking is free in 5 places on booking. extra payments they request in cash so they will not provide any receipts. this should be checked by the fiscal authority or the ministry of tourism from Greece.
although the room was so big, there was too hot during the night and the air conditioner would not do the job, the capacity is too low for the volume of air: 42 square metres X 3 metres hight.
If you close the air conditioner and try to sleep with the terrace window open, even if the hotel has provided an electric odor for mosquitoes, they will enter anyway and do their task.
the room was clean but all the wardrobes were open as the air inside them was not ok. When I used the sink, I saw a big myriapod...
Read moreWe had a lovely stay at Panorama, as a family of 5. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard, and have all the basic amenities available such as fridge, stove and hairdryer. The view we had was just amazing, this is what drew us to book here and it was not disappointing. We loved it. The pool is able to be used as long as there are bar staff around, which was a massive bonus for my 7 year old nephew who could take a dip after dinner. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, but we especially loved Nikkos! He makes the best pina colada’s we have ever tried! (Also he makes an impressive ‘Mocktail’) We would absolutely recommend staying here. The food was incredibly delicious every time, we never had a bad meal here! The only con of staying here is it is at the top of a very steep hill, which you need to climb to be able to access all the restaurants and the beach! And unfortunately they don’t offer taxis for this short trip (yes, we asked!!) but it is worth it for the view. Should be ever come back to Corfu we would...
