Elma's Dream apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

The location of the accommodation is ideal, just a few minutes from the beach, shops, and the bus station. It’s easy to reach the center, with buses running every 15 minutes, which is very convenient for tourists who don’t want to search for parking. We had an apartment upstairs, bright, with a terrace that had two exits and another common area for relaxation. Andreas, the owner, is a very kind person and has two beautiful dogs. On-site, there is a pool with sunbeds and a bar. The towels in the room are of excellent quality, like those in a 4-star hotel. The owner bought is fresh cold water to the room when we arrived and it was highly appreciated. The beds in the room are very comfortable, the rooms are high and airy, and there are two air conditioners that are very quiet at night. As for improvements, I would recommend repairing the shower cabin doors, as they don’t close properly and water leaks outside the shower. The toilet didn’t work perfectly, and we ended up using a lot of water. In the shower, I’d also suggest adding a shelf for guests’ personal toiletries. On the balcony, some clothes hooks would have been useful. We didn't appreciate the other tourists who made a lot of noise close to the midnight and during the day, when we wanted to rest a bit with the doors open to enjoy the breeze.

Other than that, I have nothing to complain about and truly hope to come back...

We (two adults and a child, 9) had a wonderful stay at Elma's Dream.|The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the beach, quality restaurants and bus stops. |The apartment was very clean, airy and contained everything we needed for a self-catering break, including a well equipped kitchen, a good array of pots/pans/crockery and utensils. Wash liquid, cloths and tea towel were provided. A good kettle and toaster were provided - again, spotlessly clean. The shower was great and quality hand/bath towels were supplied. Beds were very comfortable. The A/C units (which looked new) worked brilliantly and were much appreciated. The WiFi signal was superb.|The pool was not crowded during our stay. It was quiet and relaxing allowing our daughter to enjoy the diving board at her leisure, with both sun loungers and table sets available within close proximity.|Elma's Dream is a relatively small (15 or so rooms) family run establishment with Andreas and Majken at the heart of it, working hard to make guests welcome and ensure they are well catered for. There's no pretence, which was refreshing. We experienced warmth, kindness and personal service from the outset, noting signature 'little details' that made our holiday all the better. |It was no surprise to meet several parties (couples and families) who return to Elma's Dream year after year and in all honesty, we rather expect to...

There are places where your stay is so marvelous that you never hesitate for a second whether it is worth another travel. We spent wonderful family vacation at Elma's Dream eight years ago, and we refreshed our memories of Chania this July. These cozy apartments are within 5 min walk from a sandy blue-flag beach and additionally our kids happily splashed in a decent size pool on the hotel's premises. Elma's Dream owner Andreas is a manifestation of hospitality with a perfect attitude to meet all the guests' demands and requests- from restaurant menus, recommendations on tours around the island to making car or taxi transfers reservations, helping with laundry (you just name it). Small and bigger shops, as well as car rental offices, are within walking distance. Bus stops are even closer. Apartments are equipped with kitchen utensils, TVs and air conditioners; and rooms are cleaned daily (towels and bed linens changed as well). Our kids keep showing off with the essential Greek vocabulary that they learned during the stay - karpuzi, pagoto, parakalo, evkharisto. Besides, they are curious to know if Rocky (the dog) is doing well. They miss him! :) Andrea, I promise that next time we are visiting Elma's Dream I will learn more of the language so that I could better express my gratitude for the pleasant stay and your immaculate helpfulness.
