We did a walking tour of the northern beaches. This was the worst generally though my eldest daughter liked it. There were bigger waves than the other beaches, which she liked. It was not child friendly for younger children and quite stony and windy. Younger children found it difficult to enter the water over the stones and through the waves, then it was too wavy for them in the sea. It was not crowded and the water temperature was tolerable. The western half of the beach was better because you could reach sand after crossing the stones into the water but the eastern side seemed to be stones as far as you could walk. Neither side was great overall, especially when there are much better beaches just a few...

Loved this beach! A lot quieter than Nea Chora with only a few sun loungers in the middle of the whole beach. There are 2 toilets near the sun loungers. There are trees for shade and some benches. The sand has more stones but no problem finding a space to lay your towel. The sea has large stones near the shore but to get in the sea you can find areas with less stones, there is sand when about 2 metres in. If you have swim shoes this isn’t a problem. The sea was pretty calm on our first day so was perfect for swimming but the waves were quite big and powerful on other days. Overall we...

Undeveloped beach, without umbrellas or chaise long to rent, so it’s a good choice if you are looking to relax away from the crowds, and if you don’t mind the rocks. The sand strip is covered with stones that you need to scatter to make room for your towel. There are lifeguards (10 AM to 18:00) at either end of the beach. I enjoyed how few people were there, it’s peaceful. But, as other reviewers noted, there is quite a bit of litter - both washed up ashore as well as people leaving their bottles and...

Lifeguard would not allow anyone to go past waist deep in the water. Since I came to swim and not sunbathe I left immediately. Saw a cool flower growing in the sand.
