We did a walking tour of the northern beaches. This was the worst generally though my eldest daughter liked it. There were bigger waves than the other beaches, which she liked. It was not child friendly for younger children and quite stony and windy. Younger children found it difficult to enter the water over the stones and through the waves, then it was too wavy for them in the sea. It was not crowded and the water temperature was tolerable. Neither side was great overall, especially when there are much better beaches just a few...

The sea was pretty calm on our first day so was perfect for swimming but the waves were quite big and powerful on other days. Overall we...

The sand strip is covered with stones that you need to scatter to make room for your towel. There are lifeguards (10 AM to 18:00) at either end of the beach. I enjoyed how few people were there, it’s peaceful. But, as other reviewers noted, there is quite a bit of litter - both washed up ashore as well as people leaving their bottles and...
