We stayed at Anemos Suites one night when we explored parts of the Heraklion region. The trip was spontaneous so we booked late. It was at the end of the low season and the price was very laudable and value for money. The room, a Studio, was nicely decorated and of great size for a family of three, with two balconies although none of them with perfect view (but we could see the sea from one of them). Kitchen equipment scarce but that was not an issue for us as we just stayed one night and did not plan any cooking. Pool area fresh and cozy. The garden/garden restaurant is huge and perfect for families with kids as it also has a “playing area”. Breakfast not included but the breakfast menu had a decent selection and not too expensive. We had lunch there and food was good and portions generous. The owner is fantastic; very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This is really a personal and professional family-run hotel in its true sense. The location is super. Just walk down the lane and you are at the beach. The nearest beach club, News, has a nice bar and a cool breeze. The sand is golden and soft, just a few pebbles, the sea fairly shallow and relatively calm despite the yellow flag the day we were there (esp compared to eg Platanias’ beach). We highly recommend...

First off all we had a lot of problems with the room, but thankfully we got that sorted…The staff is amazing, really nice and helpful!!! But hotel.. i don’t know more 3stars… than 4.. very boring , the roof bar was closed cause off November which was very strange, as we seen a lot good reviews about it nice view and etc.. Sauna?!!! if you want to use sauna you have to pay it 10€ extra?!!! thats a joke, cause on the website doesn’t say anything.. breakfast was ok and nice.. i think just could be a little better choice.. Of everything.. but still ok… My husband came to book a spa and the ladie sad come back tomorrow, cause she doesn’t know how to do it and etc.. But… i will say, for the money you paying in here, you better get the apartments in the town cheaper and would be the same thing… very small swimming pool for kids. Just thanks for staff for all the help. But , would not be back in. Disappointed...
Read moreWe spent with our my family of 4 - 3 days in this cosy Home. The location is quite outside of Heraklion, but for us the best option as we landed late in the evening. Taxi takes 7-10mins. Accommodation clean and 2/3 rooms where modern.. the bathroom is tiny, but acceptable. Kids bed are quite nagged and had a Strong smell of sogg, that’s why we let the twins sleep with us (this was not the first place with strong/bad smelling kids-bed we experienced) the pool & area where clean with enough sun-chairs. The highlight of this place was the huge kids-playground. My boys had so much fun... their eyes turned hearts when they saw the huge bouncy castle 🏰 hearing my kids having so much fun was more than we could have asked for. Service Desk, cleaning lady’s and waiter are great friendly,...
