Very nice hotel, however the lack of food options let them down. We were on an all inclusive board basis, which I think for us was a waste of money. We got there late at 2am in the morning and they left some food and water for us in our room which was nice, theirs free AC also, a fridge and tv in the room. Rooms are alright but you only get one key per room which means we could hear knocks on the door from the other rooms most night, which was quite annoying. Also there isn't a do not disturb sign, as housekeeping comes around to clean everyday. However they only have like 6 hot food options, breakfast was always the same, some cereal and English breakfast with the addition of some chip's and salad. It was hard to choose something for lunch as there weren't that much options and dinner was the same. They do have one fresh option where the chef cooks something at dinner, however the queue was long. Took us around 50 mins on one night to get food. Lastly, the food option are very limited and they always run out of the good stuff fast so you will need to be early always and then they put something else out. The desert options is quite bad and they alway runs out early and they don't have any ice cream at all. The foods are badly label and as someone with a cheese allergy I would like to know what in my food. The meat option is mostly pork, I think I had pork everyday, we basically ended up eating the same food everyday really, not much of a variety. We got a pack lunch one day has we were going on a tour and all we got was one badly wrap sandwich, some fruit, cake and water. Bread was super dry with no butter. The bar by the pool is opened 10 to 10 and the drink options here are very limited too but worst of all is the size of the cups they serve the drinks in. The snack at the bar was only cake and oranges. Though the pool ares is quite nice and has loads of sun bed, their alway music playing also. They don't have pool towels so you will need to bring yours. It a great hotel however not for an all inclusive basis, not a very good value for money. I would recommend just going for room only basis, as there are at lot of restaurant's around the hotel and and a pub with better food options right next door and you get 20% off because your staying at the hotel. Lastly, the hotel staff were very nice and friendly and...
Read moreI used this hotel as a base for my 2 week stay, and I was impressed. On my very late arrival, I was greeted by George who was very welcoming, explained all parts of the hotel and what was included in my stay (all inclusive), and highlighted places in the area that were worth a visit.|The room was very clean on arrival, but I did notice that the balcony light did not work, however with the positioning of my balcony, I still had light coming from elsewhere.|Throughout the stay, there were a number of tumultuous guests, and I feel that the situations were handled really well, and George regularly apologised for this despite it not being his fault.|Meal times had a lot of cold options. Sometimes I did struggle on hot food, but this was due to my picky eating (I don’t like lamb or sea food) and there were nearly always local dishes which I really appreciated. |Costos the chef was lovely, and always took the time to speak to everyone in the restaurant. He also helped me with my Greek, and spent time to help me come out of my shell with other guests.|The all inclusive drinks are very restricted, only offering brandy, ouzo and raki in spirits, beer and wine. No cocktails were included, but it was possible to get toasties and pastries throughout the day.|During my stay, the cleaning of the room wasn’t particularly consistent, which did leave the bathroom smelling due to the lack of bin emptying. The rooms are very large, and had a fridge which was very useful. The pool area is very pretty, but the rules being enforced was very hit and miss (eg. Some guests being allowed glasses around the pool).|The WiFi throughout the hotel was strong which I was surprised with. This made it possible for me to watch tv on streaming services.|The beds in my room wasn’t particularly comfortable, but I am used to memory foam rather than mattresses with springs. The aircon was very effective too, and was also very good for heating.|The hotel is in a great location with easy access to public parking for if you hire a car, and excellent bus services very close by.|I didn’t spend large amounts of time at the hotel during the day due to exploring the island.||Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but the stay was made by the actions of...
Read moreHotel rooms need improvement. The key to the door of our room had 2 pendants the size of credit cards - one with a number and the other to match the function of the room, which interfered when the door had to be unlocked/locked, because it was too big and the key could not be turned. The key also did not fit well in the keyhole. It got stuck a lot. The bathroom toilet paper holder and shower curtain rod kept falling off. It was difficult to flush the water from the toilet bowl, and the lid of the bowl has no place to hold it. It was often impossible to get water from the faucet to the shower head while washing. The beds were very hard. The balcony had two doors, of which only the outer ones could be closed. Someone was smoking all the time in the surrounded balconies and it was impossible to keep the balcony open because of the terrible smell. We had left the shivers on the balcony and the ash of cigarette had fallen on one of our shirts and burned a hole. The shirt now is unusable. At least there was a fridge and air conditioning. The room were cleaned every day. Brought new towels but some of them had orange stains. Good pool which was a big plus. Breakfast was not good. Plain and tasteless. For example, breakfast cereals and custard tasted like paper and were not edible. The drinks also tasted strange. The only good thing was the coffee that came out of the machine. The corridors of the hotel were dirty. Papers and spilled coffee stains have been on the stairs for several days and no one cleaned them. Nice staff. Very helpful and cheerful, which gave a better impression than the hotel itself. I would give 2 stars instead of 3. But the price we paid was not that crazy, so I didn't feel so bad about the experience either. All social life is nearby, but a good beach is a longer distance away. It is very loud around, but the room is soundproof, which is a big plus. The hotel looks visually good but it needs functional...
