I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading reviews on here but we were pleasantly surprised. Not sure why everyone is moaning about it so much! Our room was lovely and modern, and kept really clean. The pool was spotless and cleaned every day. The pool bar was also spotless, the barman ‘Jamie’ cleaned non stop and couldn’t do enough for everyone. Brilliant location right on the beach. |There was building work going on next door but wasn’t a big deal as we barely heard them and they were gone buy 2pm most days and never came earlier than half 9.|The hotel restaurant is located down the road, about a 3 minute walk but it wasn’t a problem for us. The food was as you expect it to be at all inclusive - standard and repetitive but we could always find something that we liked. At lunch, a small selection of food was brought to the poolside bar so you don’t have to go the restaurant at lunchtime. They had pizza, pastas, pastries, salads and breads, then watermelon and ice cream too. We preferred this to the restaurant. |On an evening you can go to the main hotel Stalis hotel and have drinks there. Again this is just a short walk away. |||Overall a lovely and relaxed holiday. A few downfalls but it’s what you make it. |Would recommend for friends, couples and families with older children as the pool...
Read moreLovely location, right on the beach, friendly reception although half the time there wasn’t anyone there ...land that's where it ended for me. The hotel is down a sloped road, and when you walk down to the hotel your access to the hotel has a large lump of concrete purporting to be a step onto a small area which often had a bicycle or a scooter parked there - if you were disabled you may experience access. Your meals are in another part of the strip and I measured 230 paces to get there. In the room the shower in the lovely bathroom wasn’t enclosed so eachtime we showered we had to put towels down so we didn’t slip - the cubicle didn’t have a front door, just a side panel . We were all inclusive but the drinks selection by the pool was very poor. Beer and 3 other local spirits. The poolside tables at the side of the sun beds were disgraceful and had not seen a cloth in weeks, absolutely filthy . The sun beds which I have to say were very comfortable were also filthy and needed a good clean . The room was cleaned daily which is a positive. The whole of the building inside and out is painted in a dark grey/blue colour and looks very uninviting in the corridor. Not over impressed at all . Breakfast was probably the best meal of the day but food...
Read moreI... like most people dont really read or post reviews because it's normally sad miserable types that have nothing better to do then complain ...however ..this was so poor I have to change my opinion. All/inc this is not ...do not stay at this hotel . 1 I go all inclusive as I like to eat and drink without worry ..Drink appalling, food worse ..if edible it was cold ... 2 The 3 facilities are disjointed and at separate locations, the food and drink offered at the pool laughable and it's self service ! Do not go here . 3 The wifi which I'm not bothered about as we are on holiday ..is almost non existent..my partner had to leave our cubicle..sorry room ..to go to one of the receptions for any kind of service of which only getting a signal twice .The tv in our cubicle didnt work as the signal was to low .4 Staff..on occasion rude , unhelpful and argumentative. 5 like others on here we spent money eating and drinking at other venues ..so incase you are still unsure ...DO NOT STAY HERE ...stalis the resort is delightful, stunning and picturesque..we would recommend it to you all ..but ..if you want somewhere to stay ...take a wild guess...
