Kings Street Food Stalis — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

This restaurant is advertising a Beyond meat vegan burger, vegan mayo, totally vegan. It isn’t vegan and it isn’t a beyond meat burger. The burger may be vegan but it’s not a beyond burger, it’s a cheap dry burger with no taste and a dreadful texture. The bun is a brioche which usually contain butter so I asked to see the allergens and it has butter in it made with milk an allergen. I tried to get through to the owner how serious it was to give someone milk that as an allergy but he wasn’t interested, said it wasn’t his fault, he didn’t realise!! I really hope they take this seriously before they do...

We had lunch here twice during our one week stay. The food was delicious and fresh and the service was great. Both times were dine-in. The greek salad was way better than the one they serve at a fancy restaurant that’s down the street (Akti), the feta cheese was creamy and delicious and they didn’t skimp on the olive oil. I have celiac disease and ordered souvlaki with tzatziki and also a plate of chicken gyros with just meat and felt fine after. Food is a tiny bit cheaper than other restaurants...

We stayed for the 3rd time in Stalis this year. Normally we don't prefer "fastfood", but after arriving late in the evening at our appartement, we went to Kings Street Food and we we're surprised!☺️ Really good food for a good price, also the quality was very good, especially the cesar salad and also the crispy chicken salad!!👍😋 So we came back for several times...☺️ Thanks a lot to the whole staff, they' re very kind and friendly, the service was excellent!!
