Kontogoni Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Elafonisos

An average room in a good location. More or less that sums everything about kontogoni. The room size was ok, but the size of the bathroom was far away from ok. There was no place to leave your cosmetic s or your towels. Furthermore the shower was one of the smallest I have ever seen. I am really thin but I could hardly have a shower without touching the curtain. The balcony was also very small. When you were seating outside and you wanted to close the door, you had to move the table as there was not enough space. I also read the critics of previous tenants about the excellent breakfast and I am still trying to understand in what they refer. You could have coffee, toasted bread, jam, butter,cheese,hum and cake. I understand it is not a hotel, and most of rooms for rent don’t serve breakfast, but let’s be realistic, breakfast was basic. I need to mention here that in Elafonisos you meanly find rooms to let, not hotels, but they all serve breakfast. I must also say that during my 3 nights stay they never changed my sheets. ||The main asset of the hotel is location. The place is 2 minutes walking from all the cafes and restaurants, just of the pedestrian road. we had a great stay.the manager (Tassos) was more than kind and ready to fullfill every desire we had.something you dont find very easy in our days in Greek Hotels.the spot was excelent strategically placed in a possition so you can reach everything withing a few minutes.||the hotel was very clean and though its stracture is simple they have managed to decorate it with a minimal artistic touch.they make you feel as if they pay extra attension to the details.even the room key has its own artistic character.||the breakfast was very nice.except the american breakfast which was made by fresh ingridients manager Tassos often adds some nice freshly made sweets like french toast or brownies or whatever else he is in a mood to make.it looks as if he really likes he s job and he makes the famous Greek hospitality look real.||we will be going there every year.low cost stay in a...

We spent five days in Kontogoni and we had an amazing time. The location is superb, just steps away from the center of the island. There is more than enough parking space right next to the hotel even though the accommodation is very central.||||The hotel offers way more than you would expect from a low cost accommodation. There is wi-fi available at the reception. The place is very clean and you get fresh towels every day! Home-made breakfast is served, which you rarely find in rooms to let.
