Sta Kala Kathoumena — Restaurant in Municipality of Elafonisos

In an island full of great restaurants with fair prices, this place is a total rip off. As other comments mention, the portions are small and expensive and the service is hasty and pushy (they give you an extensive menu but then tell you nothing you want is available and quicky sell you more expensive dishes served in tiny plates). Unlike everywhere else in Greece they don't bring you a check (the guy/owner/waiter/whatever) just says a number out of the top of his head and even worse, informs you at the end of the meal that you'll have to pay cash because there's a very weak signal (everywhere else in Elafonisos seems to work perfectly). Do not go here, please choose any of the other wonderful and serious restaurants...

Restaurant with a nice courtyard, hidden in the village's streets. We ordered seafood and fish. Small portions and overpriced. The squid was hard and soaked in oil. The sardines were overcooked. Although we had a reservation, when we arrived 5 minutes later, the waiter had already given our table to other customers. Coming back to this place over and over again,every time I visit the island. One of our fav places in Elafonissos. Great service, good food, great music from old greek movies. A small paradise that reminds you of 1960's backyards where you wait for Marinella to come out and sing for you as you enjoy the well cooked food. A family business that deserves only 5 stars.
