I have done some research on where to stay in the Epidavros area, and was so lucky to have found this place - it was exactly what I was looking for. The staff is great, warm and welcoming, super friendly and they make you feel at home. We had an apartment on the second floor with wonderful see view from the balcony and even from the bed. The bed was very comfy, and I felt super relaxed during our entire stay - maybe the green wall also had something calming? :) Coffee, tea and water was provided in the room, and the homemade breakfast served on the terrace outside was super delicious with pies, eggs, homemade jams, fresh orange juice - and the Greek coffee served was excellent. We sat for an hour every morning, rather late, there was no rush at all. We had some nice chats with Eleni, and she was so lovely and gave me handmade soap and herbal tea to bring back home. I highly recommend this hotel. The area is just great - you can walk to the beach, the little ancient theatre, the sunken city (bring snorkeling equipment). You need to car to explore more in that area, there are a lot of delicious restaurants in the...
Read moreThis was such a great place to stay, for so many reasons. We originally booked another place online, but couldn’t find it (nor could the locals or the cab driver). We walked up to Marilena, and Lena found us a spacious, spotless, and affordable suite. Two balconies with views, clean kitchenette and bath, a/c, quiet setting. There’s a market right next door, nearby coffee shops, great bakeries. ||Lena and her sister Maria grew up in the village, and are so charming. Lena’s English is pretty good, and she’s a petite, smiling powerhouse. She’ll find you a great place to eat (Mike’s!) show you how to get to the beach (the beaches rock! Uncrowded, with top EU rating for clean water, and ancient ruins beneath) and she’ll make you fresh orange juice. She’s so lovable--the whole family is. I have Greek heritage (but don’t speak it), and have visited Greece before. People often overlook the mainland for the islands, but Epidavros is a must--the community, the beauty, the beaches, the concerts on the plata, the ancient history and wisdom all around. And stay at Marilena! We loved it so much we added a...
Read moreI had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in August 2025 and I can only say it was an excellent experience. The property is extremely clean – every corner was spotless, which made the stay very comfortable and relaxing. The ladies who run the hotel are truly wonderful hosts: warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you might need.
The rooms are beautiful and very well equipped with everything you could possibly require for a pleasant stay. You can see that a lot of thought and care has gone into making the guest experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
On top of all this, the location of the hotel is fantastic – close to everything, yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and...
