Tavern Mouragio — Restaurant in Municipality of Epidaurus

The food itself was okay, not particularly good or bad. Lets call it average. The tzatziki was rich on garlic, which I liked, but this might be too much for some.

What really kills this place is the service. Not only is it slow, even though the place was not visited very well at all at the time, it is also really, really moody. Want to pay with credit card? Prepare for a look that might kill you! Nobody working here gave the slightest of hints that they enjoy their job or want to serve customers. Why not close the shop, if you don't want to run it?

I would strongly suggest looking for somewhere...

One of the worst experiences we had in the area! When one of our friends asked for pita gyros, the waitress said that they don't make at this moment. I pointed two other clients having at the time pita gyros and she said "well, we don't make now!" My husband went to the restroom and while passing by the kitchen he saw them making pita wraps! The food itself was bad and left all four of us with weird stomach issues. There are so many other great choices in Epidauros that there is no reason to tolerate neither the rude waitress( owner?) nor the zero...

The Imami ("stuffed eggplant" on the menu) was divine with a bit of fetta and some bread. We also had fried squid, which was very tender. And French fries. The carafe of white wine was also pleasant. Generous serves and good value for money. Watch out for the circling cats ... they know precisely when to appear! Lovely atmosphere outside watching this part of the world go by - quite entertaining!...
