This is a fantastic restaurant. As soon as I walked in I was struck by the warm and colorful environment that immediately encourages one to let go of any concerns and get prepared for a great dining experience. Our very large group was met with smiles all around, and we were easily accommodated by comfortable, nicely-spaced seating. The menu offers a broad range of attractive dishes that should both assureb that there is something for everyone and that there are ample options for culinary exploration among the adventurous. Presentations are quite charming, and the warm lighting really makes the visual pop.

I ordered "Wild Pork Stew" after struggling for a long time to choose. It delivered a tangy, comforting flavor with heavy presence of vegetables to go with tasty pork and notable contribution from a few small bones. Spying the perfectly done fries on others tables gave me the notion of adding a side order to have with my stew, and I enjoyed that very much. A nice cold beer topped off the entire experience perfectly for me.

From seafood to lamb to beans and beyond, I saw or tasted so many other dishes I wished I could have indulged in. Nestled under the shade of fragrant orange trees, this taverna in Palaia stole my heart with its warm and welcoming ambiance. It truly felt like stepping into a beloved family house, with captivating photos on the walls, a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The beautiful garden, adorned with twinkling lights, added a touch of enchantment. 🌼🌿

Now, let's talk about the food! The rabbit stew was nothing short of delightful. It was cooked to perfection, with tender meat and flavors that danced on my palate. My partner's choice, the lamb with rosemary, was a culinary masterpiece. The succulent lamb paired harmoniously with the aromatic rosemary, creating a symphony of flavors that left us longing for more.

One dish that captured our taste buds was the baked aubergines. The combination of smoky and rich flavors, along with the tender texture, made it an absolute delight. And of course, we couldn't resist ordering a Greek salad, called here Country salad, which turned out to be both yummy and generously portioned, leaving us fully satisfied. 🍆🥗

I start saying I am a really picky food critic. I cook myself and tried all kinds of cuisines. Rarely I review something, only when it is very good or very bad. This restaurant had the best Lamb I ever tried, an amazing Mussaka, a house white wine that can be compared with high quality brands and a service that is friendly and offers you all the kindness possible for a remarkable service. Their food are all made in house, you can see the ingredients standing on the side of the kitchen.

The place is the cherry on top of the cake, with beautiful trees on your head and handy fan to cool you down from a warm summer day.
