I had the pleasure of staying at Olga's with my family and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This family-run hotel exceeded all of our expectations and made us feel like valued friends from the moment we arrived. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, and it was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining a spotless environment.||The snqcks and drinks at Olga's were exceptional, with a good variety of delicious options to choose from. Dimitri and Constantinos, who were always on hand, were incredibly helpful and skilled at fixing anything that needed attention. Their willingness to go above and beyond for their guests was truly commendable.||Eminstella and Endri also deserve special mention for their kindness and excellent service. ||We were touched by the thoughtful gesture of receiving gifts from Roula upon our departure, which made us feel truly appreciated and valued as guests.||The hospitality and warmth shown by Roula, Nikos, and their wonderful family and staff made our stay truly memorable. ||While we usually enjoy exploring new destinations on holiday, we are already planning our return to Olga's. Olga’s pension was an absolute gem on the amazing island of Ios. After a painful journey with a delayed airplane and ferry we were so happy to receive the best service from the team at the hotel that we have ever experienced. The location was a very short walk from the beautiful and traditional-greek port of Ios, and about 10 mins walk from the main town of Chora where things were more lively. Beach nearby and lots to do so location was a plus. The facilities and the hotel itself were incredible. We journeyed on to Paros and Santorini after Ios, and the accommodation at Olga’s was nicer and for less than half the price!!! A lovely pool, very affordable bar with delightful food and drink and a perfect room made us feel like we were living the Greek island dream. The other guests were super friendly and the hotel was small and never felt too busy, so it was lovely to chat to everyone and get to know a few (some of whom had been returning for 20+ years - I may be joining them as regulars!). A particular mention for Dimitris, the son of the family run hotel, who made sure we had the best time possible. Such a gentleman, and kind and chatty and helpful with recommendations and insights to the island that only someone from Ios would know. This hotel is absolutely amazing. I stayed here for a few days while island hopping with my boyfriend. The breakfast provided is all fresh and a great variety. The pool is fabulous, there’s a bar there as well which is lovely to chill out at for the day. The do a lunch menu with sandwiches and great burgers. Everyone really does their best to make you feel so welcome. The second we arrived a gentleman gave us a map and marked different hot spots, gave us food recommendations which were lovely, gave us ideas of where we could go that were less busy for example Maganari beach and he told us bus times as well. The room is lovely and really clean, the bed is so comfortable and the pillows were the softest pillows ever I wish I could have brought them home with me. The walk from the port is 10 minutes, the walk to chora town is 15 minutes and theres a bus stop right outside as well which comes every 15 minutes also. There’s a lot of restaurants and bars down near the port if you don’t want to go up to Chora town as well. It’s a great location. We were offered a lift up to the port for our ferry, we had heavy bags, which was so incredibly kind. They go beyond the job description to make sure you have a great holiday.
