Helios Beach Hotel & Bungalows — Hotel in Municipality of Karpathos

The renovated hotel helios has not been finished yet such as kahylia restaurant, fitness room And spa center. The areas such as toilets next to reception and pool bar has no floor Finish, even in the Rooms you could find ONLY concrete which Is not pleasure. The terrace window in our room was cracked And dirty from concrete And silicon glue. During our stay the airer for towels fell off the wall but IT was repaired during that day. Cleaning of room ok but charlady was Always forgeting to empty rubbish Bin that Is used for toilet paper. Aircondition And windblower ok. The hotel staff Is created by Italians And clients Are also Italians. They Have Always spoken Italian to US. Guys there Are also other nations in your hotel 😉, speak english please. The food Is ok breakfast include everything what you want. During breakfast And dinner you need Always ask for drink And catch staff to bring you something. No Water in main room! Dinner meal was good but for US, i Felt we Are in Italian hotel not Greek. Overall feeling ok but First, the hotel need to...

All in all, it was a very nice stay. With a few conspicuous features. The facility was not quite finished. But NOT a construction site. I have to say that there was no pool bar and in the evening no possibility to end the day either in the beach bar or in the pool bar. The dinner in menu form was always appealing and has - at least us - always tasted very good. I for myself have never in my life eaten so much salad on so many days in a row. :-) A big thank you to all the hotel staff, who were always friendly. Outstanding there still the receptionist Gabriella from Slovakia. Always there for us and all questions, small problems or support with a smile and with competence done. I believe that the facility in the "final development" is even more beautiful and fits perfectly with this...

the hotel is presented as newly renovated, unfortunately this renovation took place very cheaply, so already in the first season you can see a lot of lack. ||1. the smell of sewage in the room and in the restaurant||2. 2 days from a week was hotel without a water, imagine that you are standing soapy in the shower and the water stops flowing||3. Dirty buffet restaurant, you lost taste to eat.||4. Beach bar - if football is on TV, don't expect anyone to serve you||5.
