Nereides Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Karpathos

Nice hotel, with a small pool and warm water, and sun beds under the canvas, movable roof. The hotel is in a quiet location, end of the street, approx. 15 minutes walk to the center of the city if you choose the route through the construction site. If you go along the road, it's much longer. The town beach is approx. 5-10 minutes walk, depending on which side of the beach you choose.

The rooms are beautiful, spacious, modernly furnished. Air conditioning and safe deposit boxes are included in the room rental. They only have 3-4 channels on TV. Rooms are cleaned every day, only on Monday, as the daytime cleaners have a free day. They are very good.

There is a buffet in front of the hotel, where they also serve food and enjoy pleasant music. A buffet turns into a dining room in the morning. There is a large tv in the garden, where you can watch daily news or a match if it is not possible in the room.

If you are used to an early sleep, then there may be a problem with the volume coming from the buffet. It is caused by the guests with their drowsiness and laughter. Close the doors, they are good sound insulation.

There is enough space for parking a rented car in front of the hotel.

Breakfast: Sometimes they run out of eggs, but they bring them. The white bread is fast running out or it's from the previous day. But there is enough fresh black bread and toast. They offer two types of unnatural juices that are quite acidic. You have the option of diluting with water, which is next in the jug. They have a great home strawberry jam. Positiv siden.||||Fint Hotel, som levede op til den forventede standard. ||||Vi fik et dejligt familie rum på 3 sal med udsigt over poolen og omgivelserne. ||Hotellet ligger lidt tilbage fra hovedvejen, så der er ikke noget trafikstøj, hvilket er dejligt. ||||Der er ca. 5 minutters gang til standen, og 15 minutters gang ned til havnen. Morgenmaden var rigtig fin, det var det man gerne ville have, kan anbefale den græske yogurt. ||||Hotellet var rent og pænt, og især rengøring af vore værelser var til UG. ||Simona fra Albanien var en oplevelse værd altid glad og smilende og imødekommende, det kunne resten af personalet lære noget af. ||||Pool området var fint, der var håndklæder på ligge stolene, så man ikke ikke selv skulle tage med, men de skiftede ikke til nye hver dag, hvilket betød at håndklæder var våde, også uhygiejnisk. ||||På negativ siden: ||På den 1 dag, konstaterede vi at lyset på vore balkon ikke virkede, og gjorde opmærksom på det, da det ikke blev lavet, gjorde vi opmærksom på det både 2 og 3 gange, og de lovede hver gang at nu skulle de nok lave det, men intet skete, bare for DÅRLIGT.||||En anden ting er at der ikke er varmt vand hvis man venter med at gå lidt sent i bad, så her skal man forberede sig på det kolde gys!||||På afrejse dagen skulle vi være ude af vores værelse kl.12.00, og da vi først vil blive afhentet kl. 20.00, er det lang vente tid, vi spurgte om vi kunne have vores værelse længere, også mod betaling, men nej her kunne man intet gøre, det er også ok, hvis der have været en mulighed for at kunne komme i bad inden man blev afhentet, men den mulighed eksisterer ikke på hotellet, den eneste mulighed der er at at gå over i udendørsbruseren og vaske sig der, som i min optik er mega DÅRLIG SERVICE, få nu rette op på det, det må der godt nok være mange gæster i tidens løb, der har...

Great stay! I like the location. Enough parking spaces. Due to renovations the walk to the city is longer, wich is not an issue if you are young. you are not in the buisier centrum of pigadia or next to a loud main road this is a plus for me. The rooms are clean , im not a fan of the stripey print everywere but its not so wild that you cant ignore it. Close to the beach. Many supermarkets near the hotel. People are nice. Breakfast is great theres enough choise and nice fresh goods. Swimming pool has well shaded soft beds and sunning beds+ towels. + you can order snacks or drinks...
