I haven’t been to Karpathos in 15 years, so when I visited this summer, I tried dozens of different places. I must say that Asteri cafe was one of the most consistent. They had a bouzoukia night on mondays and fridays with a lively nightlife! i wouldn’t miss a bouzoukia night. The music, greek tapas and atmosphere was all great. The owner is always there, so you know you’re going to be taken care of, every time. They also make the best Freddo espresso & frappe that I would get on my way to the beach every morning.
