Kallistefan — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Kallistefan. The advertising for this hotel is highly misleading and deceitful. The promotional images cleverly omit the true surroundings, using manipulated angles to create a completely false impression of the location. The actual site is vastly different from the serene and picturesque setting depicted online.

Upon arrival, I was shocked to find the hotel in an entirely unappealing and inconvenient location, surrounded by noise, construction, and an overall uninviting environment. This deception led to significant emotional distress, as the place I thought would be a relaxing getaway turned out to be a nightmare. Consequently, I chose not to stay at the hotel, despite having already paid for my reservation.

Attempting to resolve the issue, I approached the hotel staff to discuss my concerns and seek a reasonable solution. However, I was met with rudeness and hostility. The staff were exceptionally uncooperative and dismissive, refusing to acknowledge the misleading nature of their advertisements or offer any form of compensation. Their unprofessional and insolent attitude only exacerbated my disappointment.

I strongly advise against booking a stay at Kallistefan. The deceptive marketing practices and the appalling behavior of the staff make this establishment one to avoid. we were the victim of a last minute cancellation of our stay by the Kallistefan hotel, initially the stay was supposed to start tomorrow and we just learned that this evening by the establishment that our entire stay is cancelled because our reservation would not be found in their software, it is shameful, and disgusting to make people who booked in this hotel weeks before bear the risk of having nowhere to sleep. after calling, the hotel tried to blame Booking.com when everything was confirmed on the booking side and on our customer account. That’s the best hotel we ever stayed at. Rooms are very well designed and they were cleaned every day along with changing towels. In the room you can find flip-flops, vanity sets, shower gel and hair shampoo (refilled everyday). You can also borrow a beach towels and umbrella to take it to the beach. The hotel itself is not very big so we enjoyed an excellent peace during the entire stay. Breakfasts were very delicious and they varied every day.
