Elite Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

Only a short walk from the downtown harbour/shopping/restaurant area and less than 5 min walk to Lambi beach, a great spot to be. Our unit had a view of the hills from the back and you could see the sea from the front. Keep the doors and windows open and the most amazing breeze blows thru. ||A/C in the bedroom and stand up fan available upon request. Great water pressure in the shower and hot. Kitchen has the basic tools to cook and a table and chairs. Microwave, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and a hot plate. ||Apartment was very clean. Lots of bedding, towels and a table with chairs on the balcony. There was also a collapsible unit to hang your wet beach clothes. ||Pool and pool area always clean as well as a bar and breakfast area. The owner and his son were super warm and welcoming. On our first day at Elite Apartments, in the evening before we go to sleep, there was a huge cockroach in the room kitchen. Immediately, we killed it. It was so disturbing that we talked to the owner and asked for a refund. All he said was "yes I also saw one here (kitchen, bar area) and killed it. There is nothing I can do.". He forced us to go back to room and then when we were back in the room, we saw immediately another one and took a photo of it as well. The owner again said there is nothing I can do for it. It was not possible to sleep there because there may be other ones if there are two already. It is a health concern, not only for us but all guests! In the end, we left the room and had to find another hotel for a higher price. It was such an unhealthy situation that nobody should tolerate because that is the room where we were going to sleep and have food. Ayant choisi cet hôtel pour sa petite capacité et pour apparemment une gestion familiale saine digne de ce qui fait le charme du peuple grec et ayant lu les avis d'autres personnes ayant séjourné dans cet établissement c'est avec confiance que je me suis rendu à Elite-apartments en famille couple et 3 enfants.En arrivant ,on est reçu comme des amis mais on vous suggère de régler plutôt en Cash,les infos touristiques données restent très superficielles et commerciales...rien de bien typique grec ne se retrouve dans la déco ni l'ambiance de l'hotel.Apartements au confort simple, pas moderne,tout est trop vieillot sombre et surtout c'est très bruyant a l’extérieur la route est très passante en véhicule, rien ne m'a fait rêver dans cet établissement même pas la piscine très petite,les alentours sont tristes,seule consolation bon équipement en vaisselle et ustensile de cuisine et literie correcte pas loin de la plage a pied.Ayant séjourné au premier étage le 01/08/2012 ,j'ai passé une nuit blanche car dans la chambre au dessus des hôtes confondant hôtel et bordel passe la nuit a danser et remuer du mobilier en parlant très fort, tolérable jusqu’à une certaine heure cela devient indécent après 4h du matin et surtout en s'étant déplacer demander un peu de silence courtois.Il y a à KOS plein d'endroit ou l'on peut s'agiter ailleurs qu'a l’hôtel ou transformer les chambres en mettant du sable ou de la paille pour limiter le niveau sonore.Le propriétaire semble plus apprécier la population juvénile anglophone au famille tranquille pourtant il réside sur place: car pour lui un hôtel en ville c'est pas calme mais dans son regard fuyant j'ai compris a quel genre de personne on a à faire,prestations et rapport qualité prix très mauvais par rapport a d'autres appartements situés cotés marina bien plus respectable...Comment TRYPADVISOR peut attribuer 4/5 en note globale a ce type d'établissement.C'est scandaleusement injustifié,cette malheureuse expérience m'a permis de trouver sur place dans la même ville un autre établissement moderne a la déco tendance avec plus de surface un balcon ou l'on peut être au calme avec vu piscine un gardien de nuit ascenseur a 200m de la plage pour un prix inférieur en paiement CB, en un mot un établissement tenu par des professionnels de l’hébergement touristique de qualité...
