Booked via jet 2 easter 24. |Travelled beginning of August 25.|Airport experience was the best yet. Very well organised. Booked a private transfer (our preference) took 25 mins from airport to hotel.||Before we left Ihad emailed Michale at the hotel to explain a few personal circumstances for example allergies and to ask a question regarding bed suitability for a teen lad who seems to have stood in a grow bag for the last year. ||Michael responded rapidly and was very helpful and very understanding.|For example I asked for advice on soya milk due to a dairy intolerance and he sourced this form my arrival I also asked about fruit tea which he also offered to source but when I explained I could bring my own he was happy for me to use my own at breakfast. ||On arrival we were given our room and Michael looked to accommodate our needs where he could with no fuss whats so ever he didnt make us feel like we were being difficult in any way. He also sought me out on our arrival day to explain what I needed to do to access the soya milk which he had purchased a box and offered me one for the room which was so kind. ||Nothing is to much trouble the care and attention for hotel guests is incredible.||This is only our second day and absolutely over the moon with our choice of hotel. All staff housekeeping , bar, kitchen grounds, reception staff are so friendly what a diamond of a hotel. Location is excellent.|Rooms are clean well looked after , air con is great. |Feeling relaxed and chilled just what the...
Read moreI cannot tell you how fantastic I think this hotel is. It is the only hotel I'll stay at on Kos. I have stayed here atleast 12 times in both the hotel rooms and the apartments that are in a separate building. The rooms and the apartments are in great condition and always very nice and clean. I have never had a negative experience. The family that runs the hotel and the extended staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We had a 7 year break in our yearly trip to Kos, but when we came back we were greeted as long lost family. Breakfast is served for guests every morning, it's buffet style and you there is great variety in cereal, bread, meats, cheeses, eggs boiled or scrambled etc. There is a great pool area that is not overcrowded, it has a bar that serves cold drinks, ice cream and simple food (sandwiches, french fries, onion rings etc). You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes, 10 minutes walking gets you to the centre of town and the harbour where you can take boats to Bodrum in Turkey and many other places, and it's all flat walking(no hills). You are close to everything, but far enough away from the party scene so that it's nice and quiet in the evening and during the night. I promise if you go to this hotel you'll never want to stay anywhere...
Read moreThe Imperial Hotel is a gem. About 10 minute walk from the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Stephen who does night shift on the reception. A lovely man, very helpful, nothing is too much for him. Also the breakfast staff, Maria, in particular was very happy, always had a smile and a "Good morning" for everyone. We were able to communicate via phones (thank God for Google). The hotel is spotless, the drinks are good, the pool is fabulous, it's cold enough to cool you but not cold enough to make your teeth chatter. I was in there quite a bit and I'm not a lover of pools coz usually they are too cold. On one occasion my husband noticed a piece of the concrete that was on the edge of the pool had cracked. He mentioned it to Stephen at about 11pm! By morning it was fixed. The only downside for us was not enough storage in the room for our clothes. But everything else far outweighed this problem. The shower was always hot with a good flow of water and the toilet worked!! Towels are changed and bedding changed on alternate days. If I were returning i would not hesitate to book here again. Very friendly, welcoming, clean, modern, close to amenities and about a 10/15 minute walk into Kos Town and the old...
