Katherina Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

Absolutely lovely little family run apartments Katharina and Antony were amazing hosts. Couldn’t do enough for us. Very hardworking family including their parents who also work very hard to keep the place perfect. They do the best English breakfast. Rooms were spotless, they welcome you like family. I can not find any faults with these apartments and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. The pool was so nice and peaceful with lovely Sun-beds, so comfortable you could sleep on them. All in all this place deserves a full 5 star rating.

The island itself is beautiful, beautiful view of the sea, plenty of beds to bath on the beach. Personally my only issue was it’s pretty quiet. Lots of restaurants with bars but no bars with entertainment so it’s more pointed towards older retired couples. And those younger ones who are not looking for hustle and bustle. It’s just to rest, relax, & eat and take up the sun and scenery.

So if you’re looking for a nightlife then this is not the island to choose. However we hired a quad and went to a much busier place 20 mins away which was a lot of fun and great experience.

Will I go again? Definitely to these apartments. But we’d hire a car or quad to get around to the other beach’s that are all within 10 mins of this...

Just got back from Katerina Apartments 🫶 what a little gem 💎 just Beautiful, spotlessly clean. Towels changed every day, bins emptied every day, beds were very comfy and clean. The pool and sunbed were all spotless and a good sun trap ☀️. A short walk down to the beach ⛱️, bars and restaurants. Katerina and Antonio couldn't do enough for for us, so caring and kind ❣️. They made us so welcome, as soon as we steped off the bus at 1.30 AM, Antonio was there getting our cases and Katherina with her welcoming smile 💞 sorted booking us in. They are a Beautiful family and there when you need them. It seems that they work 24hrs none stop. We had breakfast every morning and food some days at dinner time, food well worth the money 😋. Antonio and Katerina come and sit with you for a chat and to get to know their guests when they have 5 mins from there busy lives. We were so sad when we left. We will definitely try to go back. Had a lovely stay here. Hosts were very welcoming and informative. The room was a good size and nicely decorated, the bed was comfy but needed adjusting as it wasn’t level so made a noise when you got into bed. Paid extra for aircon, which was definitely needed. Knew it was an extra and quite normal for Greece, as was the one toilet roll for the duration of our stay. The pool area is lovely, but there were a few cleaning issues, for example, the pool didn’t appear to be cleaned eg the water was clear however there was debris on the floor and floating around in the small pool, that was there for the duration of our stay. But new comfy sunbeds and good quality parasols gave it a luxury feel. ||Location wise Kefalos is a quiet resort mainly made up of family run tavernas and a few bars.
