Mykonos Rooms (Marina Balta) — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

Run by two sisters who are kind at first glance but then turn out to be a little fake, perhaps to cover up with kindness the things that don't work in their apartments. Good geographical position but without a car you are very inconvenient. Road to get there disaster. Very very small room, without even a wardrobe or a drawer, without television, without shower curtain and bathrooms all with water at every shower. Very uncomfortable bed and they only give one large towel, not two each like everywhere else. Apparently if he likes you he will accompany you to the airport otherwise they say they are not authorized with a license. Having paid 100 euros per night I would say it is really expensive. Irene was the best host ever! She picked us up from the port and offered to drive us to other places too, free of charge. She lent us her family beach towels. Let us have coffee in their family terrace and offered us some homemade, delicious, snacks. Gave us waters after long days in the sun. Just made us feel cared for! We loved the room too. Had a traditional Greek look, VERY clean and the bathroom was beautiful with a cave-like shower. The property is well located, close to Mykonos town but without being too close to the craziness. Irene was a very kind and helpful host, she picked us up from the port and also dropped us down there one day too, as we did not have a car. She also kept our things for us while we explored the town after our check-out and gave us some good recommendations. Our room was basic but had all we needed.
