I went there in June and I'm kind of torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars. I'd give it 3.5 if I were able to. Maybe my overall ranking is harsh, but when I stay at luxury resorts, my expectations are higher. Most of the people who worked there were great and provided outstanding service. It is very peaceful where they're located. But there were a couple of negatives that really frustrated me. First, I had a room with an outdoor hot tub. I would have preferred a room with a pool but there wasn't availability so no issue there. But with the hot tub, it doesn't get really hot like how you would think one should. We were told that when it's cooler outside, it won't fully heat up. Also, it took hours for it to reach max temperature, even with it covered. It was just frustrating at night when we wanted to unwind with a glass of wine in the hot tub and couldn't because the water was lukewarm for most of the time. For a luxury resort, I wouldn't expect an inconvenience like that. My second issue was about the beach we had access to. When we called concierge to let them know we were ready to be taken down to the beach (you need to take a shuttle which is free), we were told that the beach was at capacity. Their partner hotels also share the beach so it's first come, first serve. It was disappointing but we were told two hours later that spots opened up and we needed to hurry as they wouldn't hold our places for long. So we rushed and come to find out when we arrive that there are open chairs everywhere! Like rows of empty chairs (see the attached photos). And other people were let in very shortly after us. So did a bunch of people leave all at once? Doubtful. If you aren't going to service that many people, don't put out so many chairs and let people have some space. That experience put me off a bit. Other things to keep in mind. Not necessarily a negative though: the resort is secluded, which id great but far from anything else. Cabs and ubers run $50 minimum each way. Don't rent a car. I didn't and was very happy with my decision. Don't do it to yourself. So if I were living in Europe, would I go back? Yeah, probably at some point. Living in America? Ehhh I wouldn't make the trip just for the resort. Mykonos itself was pretty cool. But you can still get amazing value in the Caribbean and you're not having to travel longer distances.

From the moment we made our reservation until we departed, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Here, guests are treated as family. We were warmly greeted by a most welcoming staff and sent off in a similar fashion. Myconian Panoptis Escape represents quintessential hospitality. They have mastered the art of knowing each guest intimately, including individual habits/preferences, all while proactively keeping us informed of our needs/requests in a subtle yet seamless manner. Sincere thanks to the entire team from reception to room service - all have shown genuine care and interest, which has left a lasting impression. We would like to especially acknowledge George K. for facilitating our hotel reservations, the endearing restaurant manager Martino and his polished staff - Nikolas, Elias, Chef Alex - your sea bass and lamb were outstanding! The property is perched high on a peninsula overlooking Elia Beach to the west and Kalo Livadi Beach to the east. Since it was a windier day, we did not take advantage of the infinity pool nor the complimentary shuttle to/from Elia Beach which had a dedicated chair/umbrella section for Panoptis Escape guests. All meals are served in the dining room enclosed with floor to ceiling glass walls, giving you a 270 degree view of sky and sea. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of Greek and European options to choose from. Our only regret was staying just one night. Panoptis Escape is truly in its own category. Thank you again for making our anniversary so special and memorable. We hope one day to return and see you all again!

Phenomenal resort. We have never experienced such responsive and accommodating hospitality. The staff are genuinely the kindest and most attentive team we could have hoped for. The level of personal attention we received was among the best we’ve encountered. The picturesque property, situated at the top of a mountain overlooking Elia Beach, offers jaw-dropping panoramic views of the island. Photos don't do it justice. Designed in a bohemian-chic style, it exudes an atmosphere of panache and serenity. Our room was spacious, featuring a private terrace with an outdoor jacuzzi and daybed, a dual-shower (fun!), and an incredibly comfortable bed and loveseat. The resort is private and exclusive—ideal for a romantic couple’s retreat. Dinner and drinks at their restaurant were equally impressive. As a Myconian Group property, guests enjoy the benefit of accessing the facilities at all the neighboring sister properties on the island, which was a huge convenience. Located about 30 minutes from Mykonos Town, Panoptis offers a tranquil alternative to the town’s hustle and bustle, yet it’s still easily accessible via the complimentary shuttle bus they provide throughout the day and night. It’s also just a 3-minute ride by their private car to Elia Beach. Special thanks to the entire team, especially Dimitra, Heleni, George, Eva, Ilias, Telis, and Mike, for their warm and gracious care during our stay. We echo all the other glowing reviews of Panoptis—very well deserved!
