Myral Guesthouse — Hotel in Municipality of Nafplio

The Myral are more apartment/studio than guesthouse as they have there own entrance and kitchens which is very well equipped. The bathroom is well appointed and it had one of the most powerful showers I have had in Greece, my only minor gripe is the lighting in the bathroom was too subdued or wrongly set out as it was difficult to see good enough when shaving (me) applying makeup(my wife).||There was a sofa in our studio as well as coffee table ,dining table, small dressing table with mirror (again the lighting was not the best) and the bed was very comfortable. also a large wardrobe.||There is free Wi-Fi but you had to sit on the balcony to get a connection and then it was a bit hit and miss.||The owner is very informative about Nafplio and the wider area and worth talking to to get that little bit of local knowledge that the guide books can't give you. ||The balcony had a table and chairs and a large parasol on wheels, the sun was on the balcony mid afternoon onwards so eating breakfast in the morning outside was good.||The location as people have said in previous reviews is in a residential area about 20-30 mins walk from the old town of Nafplio, we used to walk across the large car park to/from the old town as it was away from traffic and a little bit shorter and well lit most of the way.||There is a Mini Market just around the corner about 5 mins stroll which has all you need.||We had a pleasant stay at the Myral and recommend it for those who want to see Nafplio and the surrounding area but want easy parking and quieter...

I am very glad I selected this guesthouse for our stay in Nafplio, for all the reasons the other reviewers have mentioned. While the historical centre may have the romance and action, the guesthouse offers very spacious and comfortable apartments in a quiet residential neighborhood that was a pleasure to come back to after a day touring the sights. More like your own holiday home, and less a hotel. It's also ideal if you are touring by car like we were, as there is ample parking outside. There is no parking in the streets of the historical centre, so good luck dealing with luggage and parking if you are staying in the centre. Finally, Daphne and Mario couldn't have been more helpful! All in all, we loved this place and this beautiful part...

Myral is 10-15 minutes walk from Nafplio old town, and is located in a quiet residental area. We rented a large studio for a week, and found it tastefully decorated and well equipped. There was always plenty of space to park on the street just ouside, and there's a mini market nearby.||We found the owners very friendly and helpful - they helped us unpack the car and carry our bags up to our studio on the 1st floor, and opened up our sunshade for us every day when we were out, so that we would have shade on our return.||Our studio was cleaned beautifully every day, and linen and towels were changed every couple of days.||If we returned to Nafplio, we would stay at Myral again...
