We visited this restaurant and tried one of their special covered kebab dishes wrapped in pita with Gouda cheese, kebab, French fries, tomato, and mayo sauce — and it was absolutely crazy perfect. Seriously, it was one of the most delicious things we’ve had on this trip. Every bite was flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying. We truly loved it.
We also ordered a cheese pie with feta. While it was beautifully cooked and presented, it just wasn’t to our personal taste. Nothing against the restaurant — it was well made — but we probably wouldn’t order it again simply because it didn’t match our style.
Additionally, we tried a glass of rosé wine. The quantity and price were very reasonable, and the quality was decent — not exceptional, but certainly enjoyable and a good match for the meal.
If we return to this location, we would definitely come back to this restaurant to enjoy more of their food.
The only downside was the service. The restaurant was very crowded, and it was obvious that there weren’t enough staff members to handle all the tables efficiently. This seems more like a management issue than a staff issue. The people working there were doing their best, but they simply couldn’t keep up with the volume.
All in all, the food was amazing, the vibe was great, and with a little improvement in service management, this place could be even better. Highly recommended for the food...
Read moreI’m absolutely surprised that I’m writing this review before having even finished my food. Usually we always finish our foods before even writing a review. Well this time we won’t even finish our food, because it’s absolutely horrible.
First of all we ordered three plates. As an appetizer we ordered stuffed peppers. And our main dishes were a plate of chicken souvlakia and one pita gyros with pork. The appetizer was horrible. We were expecting a traditional gemista but what we got were three peppers filled with cheese and little sizes of ham. The plate of chicken souvlakia was even worse, the chicken was a little red inside, but drier than the sahara dessert. How this was even possible I don’t even know. Last but not least the pork gyros, this was for me one of the worst pork gyros I’ve ever eaten, and I have eaten at least more than 200. I don’t like writing these types of reviews, but that’s been...
Read moreOn our last night in Napflio We had passed this restaurant multiple times on our way up to Palamidi fortress. We were looking for something to eat most places were full. We had luck with with a restaurant, not too far from this restaurant so we decided to check it out. The staff were inviting and we looked at the menu. They had what we wanted so we ordered. I ordered chicken Souvlaki and my husband ordered pork and beef Souvlaki . We also ordered fries, pita and tsasiki. We have been all over Greece this trip from Athens to Thessaloniki to Meteora. This was the best meal by far. Shout out to Spiros, Angeliki and Kostas. Amazing group who were running the restaurant when we visited. Next time we come to Nafplio we will come...
