Extremely overrated! Me and my girlfriend took for the past week and half each place it was ok/great to eat in Nafplion and we also ate here (sadly). The place location is one of the worse. Near a big intersection, a lot of car noise and smoke. There is also very crowded and just adds to the noise. The actual food disappointed again, pasta was the worse in town, and pizza gyros was way overrated (it contains small amount of gyros - like a pita gyros amount, french fries -plenty, mustard - plenty, and a lot of pizza bread. The taste wasn't very bad, but why spend 9.5 euro when you can have a gyros pita that would be tastier for 2.5). The prices are above average. All in all i would suggest a tavern in the old town. I strongly believe that any there is far better and...
Read moreAppetizer and pasta were really good. Italian with Greek ingredients. Getting your pasta while you are still halfway your appetizer is not so good though; it gave me a feeling of being in a hurry, which, especially given the large portions, is not pleasant. It's a must have for any restaurant, but mostly so for a place serving...
Read moreI would advise tourists to exercise caution when considering Scuola Pizza Nafplio, as our experience was disappointingly below expectations. The dough quality was notably poor, lacking the freshness and texture one would anticipate from a reputable establishment, and the delivery was delayed by 33 minutes, disrupting our plans. Given the overall quality of the food and the €67 spent, we found this to be one of the worst value experiences during our trip. For those seeking an enjoyable dining experience, it may be prudent to explore alternative options in Nafplio that prioritize quality and...
