Food is good but not amazing. My pork skewer was partially raw, but luckily, haven’t had any stomach problems. Service was not good, very indifferent.
The guy running my lodging recommended this place for souvlaki. I arrived a little after noon and only one guy was sitting outside, not eating. It took a minute for someone to come outside to give me an English menu. From the outset, he seemed annoyed to be working. I had a couple of questions and his answers were curt. After I ordered a pita, he started to walk away so I had to call him back since I also wanted a skewer and a drink. After I ordered, he immediately brought out the bill and stuck it under a weight on the table. After the food came out, I didn’t see him again. He was sitting inside and avoiding looking at the patrons to see if they needed anything. Rather than waste my time trying to get his attention to pay the bill, I left some cash on the table and left. (I guess that’s one way to force guests to pay with cash instead of card).
The food came out relatively quickly. The pork skewer was tender and tasty but I’ve had better. My last bite was unusually soft so I spit it out and realized it was still raw. Since it’s a skewer, I had been eating it in chunks without checking if each chunk was fully cooked through. Luckily, I haven’t had any stomach problems so far. The fries on the side are limp and have no seasoning on them. I also ordered a pita which was a very sizable portion. The pita was tasty, but again, not amongst the best I’ve had. The bread could be fluffier, there isn’t much seasoning other than salt on the meat, and the other toppings lacked brightness.
Overall, this place is fine for a quick affordable bite but be prepared to put up with the service and make sure to check your food to make sure it’s...
Read moreI came here with my family and we had a fabulous experience. We (a family of 5) were astounded by how tasty the food was and how cheap it had been. The customer service was great and the servers had very eloquent english. We sat outside which also improved our time there since we were able to sit with a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea and the mountainy terrain. The complimentary pita bread is also incredibly fluffy and is a great addition to the gyros and tzatziki sauce. 10/10 would...
Read moreGood value fresh food, well prepared and presented. Friendly service. Good English spoken here. Three establishments in one, so choice of pizzas, char grilled meats enormous sandwiches with fries and outstanding salads. Just ask for the menu you want. We've been back twice already and will go back again. It gets busy sometimes so be patient as the wait staff are really nice guys and are literally running to keep up. Popular with locals and visitors alike, which is always...
