The food here is proof that everything is better with fries and tzatziki sauce all over it. Their gyropita is phenomenal.

Service was decent, if a little harried. The food came out quickly and presentation was pleasant and professional.

The atmosphere in general was friendly and welcoming, with some random electronic music playing softly in the background. The day was exceptionally hot and the restaurant doesn't have air conditioning - normally this isn't too much of an issue but the day really was unusually hot. Not the fault of the restaurant, just note that it's all shaded open air seating.

Delicious food, very tasty and authentic. My only point of consideration: they list the pork chop gyro pita as their "speciality". It's good - very good, actually - but... If you're looking for the more "classic" vibe of the dish, maybe consider trying the regular pork gyro. They're priced the same, and honestly you can't go wrong, they're both delicious and served with fries and tzatziki sauce all over a delicious soft pita.

Speaking of price, this locale is very reasonably priced. I'd go so far as to say inexpensive. But the value is there in portion size and quality of dish.

It's a cool little joint serving great food and it's located right at the port. Don't let the location turn you off (eg don't think it's a tourist trap) - it's worth stopping in and...

Once arriving in Nafplio, I parked the car in the public parking area located next to the dock. As soon as I stepped out the car, a wonderful smell overwhelmed me...that of grilled meat. I quickly spotted the direction from where it was coming from: Stavropoulos Meat & Grill.

It wasn't until three days later that I had my chance to try out their food. With great anticipation, I ordered a souvlaki on pita with the trimmings: onions, tomato, a sauce that was not tzatziki, and some fries thrown into the pita for good measure.

Not what I was expecting. The flavor was okay but it lacked the burst of flavor that comes from tzatziki. The fries were filling but tasteless. Overall, an okay souvlaki if you are hungry; maybe try something else from the menu, it seemed to be a...

If are looking for tasty food at an honest price delivered with a real smile this is the place for you. The food is very good, service is fast and they will do anything to accommodate you and your guests. There is something for everyone. Salads are big and tasty, Greek food is delicious and the mixed platters are bigger then you think. For kids, souvlaki comes with fries and should be enough. We were a 10+ group and we are here 4-5 times and always left satisfied by the food and their service. No extra / surprise fees like other restaurants. After you finish ordering they will give you a receipt with the total bill for your table. What you eat is what you pay for.
