BEWARE! THEY WILL OVERBOOK AND CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION . . . My husband and I spent several hours over the course of a month or so planning out trip to Greece far enough out to allow us to have the best pick of available hotels. We were ecstatic when we found Eden. We booked this hotel through a 3rd party website and the reservation was one where we pay at the property - they would collect 1/2 at booking and the other 1/2 at the actual hotel. It was also a reservation where we could cancel up to 21 days in advance of our check in date. 4 days after booking, I realized our credit card had not been charged so I reached out to them through the 3rd party app and they assured us that they just haven't charged the card yet but would do so soon. About 3 months later, I receive a random email from Eden outside of the 3rd party app saying there was an issue charging our card for the deposit and we have 24 hours to respond by calling them. Luckily I just happened to check my email within 5 minutes of the date stamp of when the email delivered. I proceeded to reach out to them via phone (left a message), through their website "contact us" form, through the 3rd party app and then through regular email. I am uber aware of our finances and so the next thing I did was reach out to our credit card company to inquire about why there was an issue with a charge from Eden and they shared there was not evidence of any hotel trying to charge our account. At first I thought - perhaps I mis-typed my card number when I put it in and then I realized that the chances of that happening would be slim to none because the system would have not allowed an incorrect card number to be entered at all. I also reached out to the 3rd party vendor to explain the issue thinking they could just re-check our card information, and they explained that because the agreement on their site was for us to pay the hotel directly, they could not take our credit card information, but that we would have to talk to the hotel directly to resolve the issue. When I first reached out to the Eden in response to their email, It was in the afternoon our time (they are 7 hours ahead in time), so I got up the next morning and re-did all of that communication. I got someone on the phone. I thought - great - we'll get this resolved. Instead of them taking my card number again so that they could resolve the issue, I was then told that they don't take card info over the phone (granted they advised me to call them to resolve the issue). They said the 3rd party company has to collect my info. I explained to them that I already spoke with the 3rd party agency and it does not work this way because the reservation is set up to pay the hotel directly. They said . . .ok . . . we will send you a link to put in your credit card information. I asked if they would do it within an hour and they said sure. Instead of receiving an email link, I received an email stating I have to contact the 3rd party booking site to resolve the matter. Over the course of the next 10 days, there had to be 15 email messages back and forth between Eden and the 3rd party site and me trying to resolve the issue. Well Actually it was more like me repeating myself over and over again hoping that Eden would do the right thing and honor our reservation. It only took me a day or so to realize this was likely a case of Eden overbooked and they just needed to create a way for us to want to cancel the reservation out of frustration. I was determined, however, not to cancel and to repeat the situation 200 times if I had to. On day 15 or so, Eden literally cancelled our hotel reservation that was on the books almost 3 months. We found our selves having to scramble to find another hotel for our trip. EDEN WASTED ALMOST 3 MONTHS OF OUR PRECIOUS VACAY PLANNING TIME. I WAS FLABBERGASTED AT THEIR LACK OF CARE AND CONCERN FOR THE IMPACT THEIR CHOICES WERE HAVING ON POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A...

Read moreThe Eden Beachfront Residences were truly spectacular and exceeded all of our expectations! My two grown kids and I were in the Diamond 2 bedroom with the hot tub and it was perfect! It has only been open for one year so everything was clean and new and decorated beautifully. There was a small but full kitchen with all of the accoutrements, 2 beautiful bathrooms with fresh towels every day, a good hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap and moisturizer, TV's in both rooms (though why would you ever want to watch TV with that view!), two balconies (one with a 3 -4 person hot tub) and nice beds/linens. The property boasts a nice heated pool with a variety of comfortable lounge chairs, a bar, and is steps away from the most beautiful beach (Kastraki). The beach is unorganized and does not have any lounge chairs or restaurants - for that you would have to go to one of the other beaches like Plaka or Prokopios but if you want a day of solitude there's no better location! I cannot neglect to mention the incredible service! Jyota and Akis (sorry if I misspelled their names), the young couple that take care of the property for the owners were wonderful and made sure we always had everything we needed. They gave us restaurant recommendations and referred people for kite surfing lessons. Also, the Chef, whose name is escaping me was great and so accommodating! My son has a peanut allergy and he made sure that everything he served was safe for him to eat. We rented a car and it was only a 20-25 minute drive to Naxos town; It's a beautiful drive so we never minded. There are quaint tavernas close by if you don't feel like driving to town for lunch or dinner and a nice grocery store a 5 minute drive away.|Overall, this was a spectacular place to stay with the most incredible view! It has all of the amenities of a hotel without the crowds! It was actually our favorite place out of all of the places we stayed on our trip! ...
