Glaros Petit Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Glaros and what a fantastic experience it was! The hotel is run by Alex, a sophisticated gentleman who is clearly passionate about hospitality. His team shares that passion and works tirelessly to ensure every guest feels at home.

Special shoutout to Stella and Kleida at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their knowledge of the island, including must-see places and amazing local restaurants, gave us the perfect insight into authentic Greek experiences.

The design of the hotel, including the rooms and public areas, is minimalistic yet very modern—exactly what you’d want for a relaxing beach getaway. Our room’s balcony was the perfect size for two, making it ideal to sit back, unwind, and enjoy a sunrise or sunset with a Freddo espresso or a glass of wine in hand. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated to enhance the experience.

Our room was always immaculate thanks to the wonderful team of Chris and Lira, whose attention to detail was impeccable. And Kathrin's breakfast buffet? Wow! It was nothing short of a masterpiece. Even though it was a buffet, every item was thoughtfully planned and beautifully presented—a rare find, even for us as hoteliers.

We also loved the personal touches around the hotel, like the record player in the lobby playing original jazz records. Picking a record to play felt like a fun little treat and added to the cozy ambiance. The room’s design was outstanding—every inch was well-utilized to offer comfort, and we loved both the hanging basket chair and the treats in the minibar!

We initially booked for 10 days but ended up staying 16—the place felt so much like home, and with easy access to nearby islands like Paros, Anti Paros, and Mykonos, it was impossible to leave!

Excellent location—just a 5-minute walk to the main restaurants on St. George Beach and conveniently situated next to a large parking lot, perfect if you're renting a car. For a 2-star hotel, it far exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money with amenities that I only found at 4-star hotels. Every detail was thought out, from beach towels that they offer in a beach bag ready to go, a flat iron for your hair and even a lint roller! Impeccably clean, a large bathroom with a very good shower, comfortable bed and a fully stocked fridge with the best prices we have seen in a hotel. ||However, the service was truly what set this place apart. Our ferry was cancelled due to weather, and we wouldn't have found out if it wasn't for the thoughtful lady at the reception, Stella, who remembered we were leaving to Paros and gave us a heads up in time to be able to arrange for a different time. The hotel was full, so we wouldn't have been able to extend our stay. She truly saved us from a lot of headaches, and we cannot thank her enough.
