I stayed at this hotel for three nights, from August 12th to August 15th, 2025.|Upon arrival, I was given a room that did not match the description on Booking.com. The listing stated 20 m², but the room was only about 15 m². It was so small that two people could barely move around. Unfortunately, this happened on my birthday, and to make matters worse, the room had no windows. This was room 203, located on the first floor, directly in front of the stairs.|The next day, I was moved to another room, after I immediately told the reception upon check-in that I could not accept such a small room compared to what was advertised. The second room was indeed bigger, and at least two people could move around more comfortably. However, the mattresses were very old and dirty — the dirt and stains were simply covered with a bedsheet.|I do not recommend this hotel at all. It does not deserve the €200 per night rate I paid. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life, but I have never seen something like this for such a price: small rooms and poor cleanliness. At the very least, the mattresses were dirty and in terrible condition.|Be aware that not all rooms have 20 m² as stated on Booking.com, which...
Read moreWe were a family of 3 and have been given a very tiny room with a camp-bed, instead of a room with 3 beds.||||This hotel contains no secure coffer locks, if you need ti put in safety pares, cards ...||||The bathroom/ toilets are very old, and it stinks a lot. I've never seen something like this before.||||Reception desk is almost always empty, as there is nobody during most of the time day.||||Breakfast is like a Joke. There is almost no choice. Coffee is awful. There is no yogurt. ||||The worst: There was some moisture on one of the butter pack I have opened, although date was still valid. This gives you a lot of condition in the way this hotel is ruled. After this , I didn't dare taking butter in this Hotel as I didn't want to get poisoned.||||and top of this, the girl in charge of the breakfast switching TV on in the breakfast lounge to watch movies in Greek, lady gaga as if she was a dummy. At least if it had been CNN or something like this.||This is totally detestable and impolite to have switched TV on, especially when you don't understand a word of Greek.||||To summarize, this hotel is large rip off. I really advise you to stay out of it, as it will spoil your...
Read moreVaggelis is very friendly and welcoming. He kindly met us at the ferry port and gave us lots of information about the area, including use of the pool at the Princess although we didn't use their facilities. Our room was plenty big enough, well equipped and very clean. Stayed only two nights on room only basis (due to ferry cancellations/departures) before returning to Heraklion. It is situated just a few minutes walk from a lovely beach and very safe bathing, with tavernas right on the beach providing excellent breakfasts and more. Everything you need is within walking distance and the Old Market was a delightful find with a labyrinth of narrow alleys offering various delights, including hidden away traditional tavernas. Overall I would recommend this accommodation as being very good value for money which is what we wanted. We've certainly paid more for a lot less on other Greek islands. Vaggelis also arranged for us to be transferred to the ferry port for our departure. If only we could have stayed...
