Ionathan Koufonisia Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

The structure is nice at first sight but it’s managed by this family (not local) who handles it not as a high quality hotel / residence but rather as the lowest type of room rentals. The goal of the managers is to collect money while minimizing the service and thus save costs. The result was this: a poorly cleaned room on arrival (I myself removed the hair of the previous customer from the shower), the room in the basement was rented to another person who had to go through our private balcony to get to her room (in the face of privacy) and room cleaning was reduced to alternate days, as well as the change of towels. To our complaints the justification was that as a result of coronavirus they reduced the amount of cleaning for the protection of personnel (!!!). On top of that, breakfast was of little consequence. After requesting some milk we were told that we had to pay extra to have it! To finish, the owner also threatened us physically on the door of the room shouting that that was his house!!! After threatening to call the police we decided to pay the two days of our stay and leave as soon as possible. Don't be fooled by the web site and the beautiful pictures of this hotel since it turns out it’s run by really shady individuals (to say the least)! Struttura carina a prima vista ma gestita da questa famiglia (non del luogo) non come un hotel o un residence di qualità ma come l’ultima delle affittacamere. L’obbiettivo dei gestori è incassare riducendo al minimo il servizio e risparmiare così sui costi. Il risultato è stato questo: camera poco pulita all’arrivo (ho tolto io stessa i capelli del precedente cliente dalla doccia) stanza nel sottoscala affittata con passaggio sul balcone delle nostra camera (alla faccia della privacy) e pulizie ridotte a giorni alterni, così come il cambio asciugamani. Alle nostre rimostranze la giustificazione è stata che causa coronavirus hanno ridotto le pulizie per la salvaguardia del personale (!!!!). Oltre a ciò la colazione era veramente di poco conto. Alla richiesta di avere del latte ci è stato risposto che si poteva avere ma a pagamento! Per finire il titolare ci ha anche minacciato fisicamente sulla porta della camera urlando che quella era casa sua!! Dopo aver minacciato di chiamare la polizia abbiamo deciso più mestamente di pagare i due gg di soggiorno e andarcene al più presto. Non fatevi ingannare dal sito e dalle belle immagini di questo hotel condotto da personaggi veramente scorretti...

I recently stayed at Ioanathan Suites and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to find my room impeccably clean and well-appointed.

The hotel’s amenities exceeded my expectations. The pool area was a perfect place to relax after a long day in island. I also appreciated the quality of the breakfast.

It's a heaven on earth! I work in a hotel so I can understand and the very small things that make the difference. First of all, very clean room and bathroom. The pool is the perfect spot to spend your evening, with special coctails or coffee. The hotel is located in walking distance from the port and mr Thanasis was at the port to wait for us and carry our luggage with his car. Homemade breakfast served in the room every morning. The owners are super! Very helpful and We felt like we were in our home. Many recommendations for restaurants etc The only disadvantage of our stay was that we could not stay longer... We will be back for sure! Mrs Ioanna and mr Thanasis are the best!!!! Keep working hard...
