I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mikres Kiklades in Koufonisi island, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! 🌟🇬🇷

This charming Greek restaurant captured my heart from the moment I stepped in. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the warm and friendly staff, created a welcoming environment that made me feel right at home. 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

Now, let's talk about the food! Oh my, it was a true culinary masterpiece! 🤤🍽️ Every dish I tried was a burst of authentic Greek flavors that transported me straight to the beautiful shores of Koufonisi. fantastic food served like at fast food! we arrived at 10, as booked, dinner was finished at 10.30. one plate after another, no explanation and dirty dishes left on the table. the table was not the one requested in the reservation, but never mind. we ordered a rose wine, they served us glasses of white wine. I politely point out the mistake to the waitress, who tries to make me understand that it's fine anyway. Ok, never mind. I would still have preferred to drink it together with the courses, not at the end of dinner! Ok, never mind. at the end of dinner, at the moment of paying the bill (correct for a restaurant that would like to be of a certain level), I express my disappointment for what I hoped would be a dinner with excellent dishes (and it was), calm (not at all!), with a bit of attention to the customers (not at all) and with just enough time to enjoy wonderfull dishes (30 minutes for a complete dinner usually at McDonalds!). with very little courtesy I was told that it was my opinion. I'll keep it dear and I'll spend my money better elsewhere. I thank the place for ruining an anniversary...

First of all, I liked the restaurant, the food and the service very much on previous visits. Great service and reasonably priced food with good quality.

However, by tonight’s experience I am feeling inclined to write a review: Tonight, we ordered the lobster linguini (it was presented to us as daily special) and unfortunately, we were disappointed because the lobster was rather mushy and didn’t really make up to our expectations. Also we only got the tail and no claws or anything.

Our fault: not asking upfront if it was fresh. We just assumed that based on the presentation (it was added to the menu orally and not on the written menu).

When we asked if it was fresh or frozen they disclosed that it was frozen today because it is hard to catch.

So on the whole, the whole lobster dish on the menu seems to be dishonest: not writing it on the menu, promoting it as daily (=fresh?) special and only telling you it wasn’t if you ask but charging a price of 90€.

I don’t like that and wouldn’t recommend ordering...
