Myrto Hotel Koufonisia — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

My family and friends just had a wonderful stay at this exquisite, family-run, boutique hotel, located in the stunning and tranquil Koufonissia. Everything about Myrto Hotel is charming, and rife with personal touches that clearly demonstrate the owners' thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and genuine love for their business and its customers. From the exceptional breakfast spread (featuring an array of homemade jellies, jams, and peanut butters) to the well-appointed and lovely decorated rooms, everything about this hotel is a pleasure. Even if it were in a remote and inconvenient location I would recommend it based on the experience alone. But as it happens, it's located right in the town, a 3-minute walk from the port, and literal steps from the beach.

Finally, I must give a special shout-out to the person that made our stay so wonderful: hotel owner Alexandros. I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of meeting his wife, Haroula, but within the three days of our stay, Alexandros quickly went from being our host to our friend. He let my car-obsessed 4-year old son sit up front with him in his van from the port and back (the highlight of his trip!) sat and chatted with us on the gorgeous deck in the evenings, gave great recommendations, and was altogether the cherry on top of already incredible trip. Merci à Nikitas et Alex pour ce merveilleux séjour dans cet hôtel de qualité. Nous avons fait un premier séjour à cet hôtel puis suite à notre excellente expérience avons décidé de changer notre itinéraire et d'y revenir pour passer notre anniversaire de mariage quelques jours plus tard.

Un gros merci pour l'organisation des fleurs à un prix très raisonnable. Merci également pour nous avoir fait découvrir le Rakomelo, vraiment une excellente attention de la part de votre établissement qui est un souvenir typique et unique des îles Grèques. Tous vos conseils pour les plages et restaurants ont également été très appréciés.

Nous recommandons cet hôtel aux gens qui désirent un certain niveau de confort et une garantie d'excellence dans cette île paradisiaque.

Points forts: Bel hôtel avec du marbre partout! Chambres spacieuses avec balcon et belle vue sur la mer et la plage. Excellent petit déjeuner avec produits raffinés, frais et de qualité. Les petites variantes et améliorations de jour en jour sont appréciées. Lit et literie vraiment très confortables Ville principale, plage, restaurants, boutiques et vie nocturne à proximité de l'hôtel. Excellente propreté partout dans l'hôtel. Transport en auto inclus même avec le ferry de nuit à votre arrivée et au départ (même si l'hôtel est à 5 minutes à pied du port). Service impeccable, toujours souriant avec un désir d'amélioration des services. Situé sur une île avec d'excellents restaurants, de merveilleuses plages, falaises, criques et des vues imprenable sur les îles avoisinantes et la mer aux multiples couleurs. Points faibles: Un peu éloignée des meilleurs plages de l'île Eau non potable (comme la plupart des établissements des îles Grèques) et aucune bouteille d'eau inclue, une bouteille de 1.5 litre par jour serait appréciée.

Recommandations: La plus belle plage est définitivement Pori Beach, la route est longue, mais magnifique par la côte, sinon par la route c'est un peu plus rapide. Italida Beach et Fanos/Finikas Beach sont plus près et vraiment magnifiques, vous pourrez toutes les voir en chemin vers Pori Beach. Le restaurant Kalofego vaut vraiment le détour à la plage Pori, excellente qualité et plats raffinés à très bon prix. Le restaurant Gastronotis vaut également une visite pour des plats raffinés au milieu des boutiques de la ville. Pour de bon Giros ou salades du chef, allez au Fos Fanari Achetez des bouteilles d'eau de 1.5 litres par paquets de 6, elles...

We had an issue with our Airbnb and suddenly had to find a new place to stay — in the middle of the night, in the middle of the island, with nothing around. We were honestly desperate, and when we called the hotel, Alex (I believe the owner) answered right away. Without hesitation, he offered us a room and even drove out to pick us up from what felt like the middle of nowhere. He truly came to our rescue.||||The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and peaceful, but what made our stay really special was the warmth and care of the staff. Everyone was helpful, genuine, and kind throughout our stay, and we felt truly looked after. We are so grateful we ended up here — it turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a safe and positive experience.||||Thank you again...
