I had a stay in Naxos Green Village hotel and had a disgusting experience there. I wrote my review on multiple platforms (Booking.com, trip advisor and Google) and hotel reached out to threaten me to delete it with a lawyer and proof. PRO'S The pool area itself looked nicely designed; however, because of the serious hygiene issues we encountered in the room, we did not feel comfortable using the pool. We simply could not trust its cleanliness given the overall lack of care we experienced. CONS 1. Moth Infestation in the Bathroom: The bathroom had been completely overrun with a moth infestation. There were roughly 15 insects scattered across the floor — clustered near the trash bins and beside the toilet. Out of the most basic sense of cleanliness and respect for guests, this should have been thoroughly cleaned before anyone’s arrival. Instead, I was met with a shocking and deeply disappointing level of negligence. To make matters worse, I personally had to resort to using bleach in order to remove the moths and clean the bathroom myself. Is that the standard expected of a guest upon check-in? Absolutely not. Such conditions reflect an unacceptable lack of care and responsibility. 2. Ant Infestation in the Bedroom: The bedroom itself was no refuge. There was a full-scale ant infestation directly in the bed and around the room. We were bitten multiple times and spent the night trying to kill ants instead of resting. This is more than an inconvenience — it is a health and safety concern. Guests should never have to endure such unsanitary and uncomfortable conditions, particularly in a space where they are expected to sleep. We searched ages for an open pharmacy at night to ask what should be done for an ant bites. + Funny one: we requested a through cleaning before the arrival. Attaching my booking message to the hotel. 3. Unhygienic Bathroom on the Ground Floor: In addition, the bathroom on the ground floor presented yet another glaring issue: a large, visible hairball left next to the door. It was disgusting, impossible to overlook, and a clear indication that the area had not been cleaned properly prior to our stay. For any guest, this is disturbing to encounter, and it reflects a complete disregard for even the most basic standards of hygiene. I used bleach to clean the bathroom and the bathroom small window had the full moth nest - put bleach there. For whoever is reading this, please be aware of their attitude towards this and avoid at all cost. All positive reviews are fake 1. First learn how to check your cleaning teams schedule and do regular check-ins instead of harassing and threatening the guest. 2. My husbands' back is full of ant bites.

My stay at this property was one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had. Upon arrival, the room was in deplorable condition - ants crawling throughout, holes punched in one of the doors, dirty sheets and towels, a broken shower, exposed electrical wire and a nonfunctional mini fridge. The overall state of cleanliness and maintenance was completely unacceptable. When these issues were brought to the staff’s attention, there was no offer of a refund, partial credit, or any attempt to make the situation right. We ultimately left partway through our reservation to secure safer, cleaner accommodations. To make matters even worse, the hotel owner physically assaulted us during a dispute over these issues as they were trying to process our credit card for full payment. The situation escalated to the point where police were called to the hotel, with witnesses standing with our family to ensure we were ok. This was alarming and an unacceptable breach of safety and professionalism. I strongly advise avoiding this property altogether. Between the unsanitary conditions, broken amenities, unresponsive management, and serious safety concerns - this hotel demonstrates a complete disregard for their guest well-being. Saving future guests the hassle of ever considering booking here.

Rooms were spacious and mostly clean. There was some sand in the shower, but was easily rinsed away. The staff were friendly and helpful; you could borrow beach towels from the front desk and buy bus tickets to get to nearby beaches. The hotel is only located a short walk from the town and port, making the location ideal. The only issue was I and at least 2 other guests had clothing stolen from the drying racks on our balconies overnight. And yes they were stolen, not blown away by the wind. Even the clothes pins were gone too. It seemed targeted towards guests in our particular building (near the road) as people I talked to in other buildings didn't have anything stolen. The hotel staff were appropriately concerned when we reported the thefts, and took info to make a police report. But obviously there's nothing they can really do to replace what was stolen. They really need to build some sort of barriers around the balconies, but until then, don't use their drying racks and make sure your balcony doors are locked.
