The most amazing goood think I have ever had the pleasure of eating!!!!!! A beautiful little restaurant on the island of Naxos. We ventured out in gale force winds for some supper and were welcomed in out of the storm by Niko’s the owner of this charming establishment. I knew I would love the food as earlier I had been for a walk and a handwritten sign outside proclaimed “ I am in a relationship with food, sorry” my kind of place! We met Dennis our most charming waiter who explained to us the philosophy of the restaurant. We started with local grilled sour dough bread with homemade naxian butter and three homemade dips, it was just a teaser for what was to come…. I had the spinach salad with feta on phylo pastry with orange vinaigrette, the freshness was sublime. My husband had the slow cooked pork with au jus in mashed potatoes, again perfection ! Nicos explained about his family farm and his grandfather and the passion for the food, and it shows! Alexander the chef is magic, honestly we might just eat here every day! The after dinner Raki? With fresh herbs and syrup homemade was the icing on the cake! Thank you all for sharing your love for the food and the process Only warning I would give is the portion size, huge! no wait for a table at around 20:00 on a Monday. Place is okay atmosphere. We had the lamb chops and the sea bass filled with saganaki a glass of the house red and white.
The lamb was dry and had zero seasoning, the sauce provides was lack luster, the chips/fries were undercooked and soggy.
My wife's fish was also flavorless, the carrot sauce served with it was extensively over salted. The vegetables were mushy and unpleasant.
Saganaki was fine, nothing to really speak about.
The wines, red was fine but my wife's white wine tasted like chemicals like the glass wasn't properly clean or was just horribly kept.
Wait staff were like vultures when you would finish the plate and grab it away without asking if you were done or not. We felt like we were being rushed to eat and leave which was unpleasant and worst is we sat wait for 20 minutes when done with out Saganaki.

Despite our high expectations, this place still blew us away so much that we went back two days later for our final dinner on the island. It's a true farm-to-table experience, and you can taste the amazing quality of the ingredients in their cooking. To make things even better, they use these ingredients expertly to create food that is among the tastiest I have ever tried in a restaurant. Every single plate we ordered was top notch, but the ones I would recommend the strongest would be: the slow-cooked lamb in lemon sauce with orzo, the lamb chops, and the pork steak.
