Paradise Village — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Incredible place in the north of Corfu. Located in a tranquil garden, with a lot of space so you don't feel like there's too many people around. The manager is very nice and helpful, she gave us a lot of hints where to eat, where to go to the beach etc. We stayed in one of the studios - it was clean, all the beds comfortable, kitchenette had all the basic equipment, AC works and there was even a fan in the ceiling. The only downside (caused by covid) was the lack of cleaning, but we could change our towels and linen if we wanted, and breakfast (for safety reasons they don't provide a buffet, just some already prepared sandwiches, boiled eggs and sliced fruit in a plastic box per family). All in all it's a great place for families (there is a playground in the garden), close to the beach and all the good tavernas but still quiet so all you can hear in the evening are the crickets. We are coming back here...

I'll start with the good: the place is very beautiful, and the rooms are clean and quiet. However, we didn't have a good experience there because we booked online through their website with the option to pay later thinking we can pay with cash. The option also said free cancellations. Turned out they charged the full amount on my credit card. They wouldn't refund us, didn't want to help us with this in any way. So we had to just stay there even though we would've rather went somewhere else if we knew we couldn't pay with cash. This whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth for the 3 nights we were there. Another absolutely wonderful experience & we will be returning again many times in the future. One morning the alfresco breakfast was cancelled due to heavy rain/thunder storm, the staff ensured that every guest was supplied with a lovely packed breakfast which included fresh coffee, fruit juice, sandwiches, eggs, fresh fruit, cake etc! All supplied and personally personally to our front door. The rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard. The surrounding gardens are also regularly cared for. The accommodation is definitely good value for money. Thanks for everything and we will look forward to seeing you again next year. Diane...
