Agrilia — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived. We received a warm welcome and 2 tables were put together so our party of 4 could be seated comfortably. The menu was typical of others in the town .Prices were comparable. Drinks arrived promptly. Unfortunately we had to wait considerably longer for our meals.In fact we probably waited just under an hour but we were not in any rush. One of our party had ordered a gluten free option which was welcomed however when her meal was served the waitress was sent out to retrieve the meal, as it had gone out as a "normal" option!No damage done. The replacement was served quickly. All meals were thoroughly enjoyed. Portions were just the right size for us and all tasted delicious .We saw many people ordering meat dishes served on boards however most people seemed to struggle with the huge portion size..so beware! What a great restaurant, the staff are so attentive and helpful.The atmosphere is chillax and the background music is excellent and not to loud. Food wise the menu is varied and beautifully cooked. The Agrila salad so my wife tells me is to die for and for me the cheese saganaki is a must. The fillet steak is cooked to your requirement and melts in you mouth. We always had the house wine, med sweet red, and it's as good a wine that I've tasted in more expensive restaurants. One word of warning if you select the mixed grill for two you'd make sure you don't have a starter or a late lunch, it is the biggest plate of food I have ever seen, so tender and tasty but you have been warned. We ate in there most nights and Maria the owner was a delightful host and always made us feel so welcome. Excellent food. I have never tasted so delicious lamb chops! The salad 'Agrilia' was so tasty, with the right dressing. We ordered also chicken nuggets for our daughter and what a surprise - they weren't the freezed ones, but they are making them on site! My daughter said that these are the best chicken nuggets ever. So, I think we just found the place where to come back ❤️ The two ladies that were taking the orders were nice and with such big smiles, so approachable and friendly!
