BLUE GARDENS APARTMENTS — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

First time in Corfu, and we have to say picked the, best location, in Roda. The Blue Gardens Apts, small and friendly family run . Spiros and his family made you feel welcome, from the very first second. Location is set in an area that's filled with Olive trees, the lushness colour's are amazing. Sea view from our Apt balcony, Rooms, small but cosy, extremely clean, it became our second home in no time. Food in the bar.....amazing, cooked to perfection, be prepared to loosen your trousers as you end your stay. Whether Drinking by the pool or in the bar, It's so relaxing and laid back. Sun beds and umbrellas by the pool, children's pool, and play area . The staff throughout the day and night....Such fun and friendly, Linda and Roy on alternate mornings, Elsa cooking breakfast, delish... Nico in the afternoon/evening.........,there is also entertainment on certain night's, look out for Splinter band......wow. It's just a 10 minute walk down to the village, where there is an array of bars and restaurants ....Roxannes, beach front is amazing, and if you carry on walking along the beach front there's a perfect sunset location at the Boat house, go and have Corfu spritzer with the lovely Steve. Eleanor and her beautiful daughter are such lovely, kind, and knowledgeable ladies. With the help of really great staff they make this beautiful peaceful place such a delightful place to stay. The attention to detail and cleanliness is fantastic. Our apartment was so cute, quaint and typically Greek. It was very spacious with a large double room, with balcony and then separate shower room and toilet. With a large twin room at the other end of the huge apartment. They have recently built another building with a more modern environment, but again with a full kitchen to ensure you can cook a full meal, with an oven if needed. There was a big wedding party staying and again Eleanor was ensuring everything was running smoothly for the bride and groom. It was so lovely to witness. The pool is perfect for children as the deepest end is around 5ft and plenty of toys for them, including a play area with their own little house to play in. For the older end there is a pool table and a fantastic library. To get to the town it is a 10 minutes walk down the main road just outside the bar area. Stayed here from the 13th August to 23rd August with my 14 year old son. We had a fabulous time, the maisonette we stayed in was really spacious 2 double bedrooms with 2 ensuites and spotlessly clean. The pool area is lovely has sun all day long and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas. We ate several times in the restaurant there is plenty of choice to satify fussy teenagers but the Greek specials were partucularly good and all freshly prepared. Helena even prepared off menu fresh fish for us one night which was delicious. The location of the appartments is ideal being only a short walk into town so you get the peace and quiet but can opt for a noisier evening if you wish. Helena helped us book trips to the waterpark and also a quad bike trek which were memorable days out they are very knowledgable about their island and will help you choose the right trip for your family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Gardens and hope to return...
