Pictures Suites Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Exceptional in every way.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pictures Suites. It is the most beautiful place, the views are spectacular and the rooms are so comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean, one of the best on the Island I’m sure, if not the best. They have everything you could need for your stay. On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from our lovely hosts, and I could immediately feel myself start to decompress! It is so relaxing here and I felt so at ease. Nia and her team also welcomed us with complimentary drinks, fruit and a bottle of wine, which was a lovely treat. We were blown away with our room and the spectacular views of Agios Stefanos beach and the Diapontia Islands. The sun sets magnificently over the islands every evening, not to be missed! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the special omelette is highly recommended. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but the breakfast, lunches and snacks were perfect and reasonably priced for such a beautiful hotel. Bottled water, more than you could ever need, is provided complimentary by the hosts.

The most special thing about Picture Suites is the staff. The host Nia and her team are beautiful people, so genuinely kind, friendly and warm. They went above and beyond to help us on a couple of occasions and I will never forget it. This makes all the difference.

Agios Stefanos itself is a beautiful place. A little further away from most of the other more popular resorts and an hours drive from the airport. I would recommend that you rent a car if you can to get about and really explore the area, however you would need to be very confident with driving on the right and with narrow bendy roads.

I was worried at first that my two teenagers would be bored as it’s a quiet resort, but they absolutely loved the chilled out atmosphere, the pool, beautiful beach and lovely restaurants. We also did a boat trip from the harbour and took a taxi to Corfu town to explore the beautiful sights there for the day. We would highly recommended our taxi driver Spiros, whom Nia could put you in touch with if you are staying in Pictures Suites, he showed us some gorgeous places on the way home from Corfu town and had excellent local knowledge. His prices were also more reasonable than the transfer company we used.

We loved Pictures Suites, nothing could have been better and we cannot wait to return one day. Next time hopefully in the master suite! Which if you can book, then do. It is out of this world! A huge thank you to Nia, Dora, George, Litsa, Christos and the entire Pictures Suites family for a holiday...

This was our second visit to Picture Suites, and we are so glad we came back. We had such an amazing welcome from all the staff - Nia, George, Dora and Lita who couldn’t do enough to ensure that we had the best stay possible. They were so welcoming and friendly, everything was just perfect. It was my birthday during our holiday and Nia surprised me with the most amazing cake, and sang happy birthday to me in Greek. It was just such a lovely gesture. ||The breakfasts are amazing - really delicious with a great variety to choose from, and sitting by the pool just felt so relaxing. A great way to start the day. The rooms are superbly located, just a few minutes walk down to the beach, where beds, towels and water are free for hotel guests. The beach is really lovely and the sea was perfect. We alternated between beach and pool most days. As the hotel has only 7 apartments, the pool never seems to get busy and is a calm oasis.||The apartments are large, and very comfortable. We stayed in a senior suite on the ground floor, and found it to be extremely clean, and well cared for. The cleaning lady (Sofia?) was lovely, and our room always looked incredible. ||The village of Agios Stefanos is very beautiful, with an incredible choice of really good restaurants at reasonable prices, some on the beach, with the more traditional Greek restaurants in the village itself. I would definitely recommend Manthos, Zorbas and Cicala restaurants.||We loved Picture Suites so much we are already planning a return trip. Thank you Nia and your lovely staff for making our stay so incredible - and for making it so hard to say goodbye. We will see you...

As mentioned in my last review (10/24), my wife and myself are back holidaying in Corfu again and - after spending 4 nights at the Mon Repos Hotel in Corfu Town (see subsequent Review) - we are now coming towards the end of another most enjoyable (10 nights) stay at the exceptional Pictures Suites property in Agios Stefanos which has, effectively, now become our home away from home.||It is always a pleasure to come back to Pictures Suites to enjoy the exceptional facilities, enjoy the outstanding hospitality (both Breakfasts and Dinners are to be sampled to be believed - Christos is, without doubt, a first-class Chef) and, above all, see Michaelis, Nea and all her team members (new and old) again.||What was particularly satisfying on this visit was to not only see the property enjoying 100% occupancy but with many of the patrons being returning guests. In addition, I was pleased to learn that after our departure the whole property has been taken for a Wedding and, hopefully, this will be the first of many more as it is difficult to imagine a better local venue!||Sad as we are to go, we’ll be back again next June and I’ll be keeping my eyes out for more Turtle Nesting activity on the nearby Agios...
