On holiday with my family and we walked into this restaurant asked for a table. At first a staff member was accommodating and very quickly sat us all down with a beautiful view of the port. When looking through the menu it was very limited and our children were craving crepes after being on the boat for hours. There were nothing suitable and the children were not impressed with the variety. After 5-10 minutes we decided to find somewhere else to eat so the children could enjoy the Paxos experience. We got up and explained respectively why we were leaving (four adults of our family members still stayed there to eat). He was abrupt with us infront of other customers eating and called us rude for leaving. We explained we needed something for the children but he followed us out and down the road raising his voice which was very intimidating and disrespectful. Came directly from the beach with my two children and were told we weren’t allowed to have our bottled water at the table (despite it being extremely hot). The waitress was lovely but told us “the owner doesn’t like to see water from the outside” and suggested I put the bottles on the chair or ground next to me. What a sad, unwelcoming way to start off a meal. I was all set to order a cocktail, an appetizer, an entree for myself, a pizza for my kids and mostly likely dessert for them as well. Instead, I ordered one $10 pizza and called it a day. I refused to spend more on principle. So sad to lose what would have been easily 100 euro for something so minor. Idk where the ego comes from - there are literally a thousand other places to eat in the area and this one was empty at the time...
